Old School Runescape / Runescape / /r/OSRS / /r/2007scape - Teaching the Economics of Prostitution since 2007, Proof that Memes never Die, Venezuelan Farming Sim 2k07

Apparently, someone in the Old School team saw the player base response, and they're now investigating the allegations. Personally, I feel like this is going to be a case of "we investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrong", but I'd like to be hopeful for once.

As someone getting back into the game after a decade away, at least the pozzed stuff isn't as readily apparent doing the Old content. I'm willing to bet that changes as I slowly work towards the New Shit.

They already investigated themselves and found nothing wrong in February when the allegations about Stella and Trident first surfaced (video about it), so I think this will be the sequel. There is new evidence, but we'll see.

Ian, or purespam on twitch, sperged out over being called a rat in odas chat after the tranny controversy and started banning people, which caused oda to burn the bridge with him.

The fact that the man known for screeching like a tard is the coolest head compared to everyone else is sad as fuck.

Didn't purespam and Mod Ayiza have a 'sleep over' at some point, or am I misremembering?

Well given the Jed controversy and now Trident being investigated, it's apparent Jagex's vetting process purely consists of;

1) Do you play Runescape?
2) Can you suppress your tard tendencies to seem like a functioning social human being?

Turns out they have no qualms with hiring autistic fraudsters and mega-simps.

Who was the faggot who named a duck after the e-girl he was simping for? (For the record if he wasn't a simp it wouldn't have been a big deal) just a fun bit of flavor.

The Jagex moderators are just as autistic as the people who play RuneScape lmao.
The best part is tuning into the live Q&A streams they do and realising that group of awkward, socially-inept jmod retards they have in front of the camera are probably the best representation they could get.

Socially awkward men (male) are the absolute best people you could have in your Q&As, if you're interested in playing anything other than microtransaction hell.

Not too sure about that guy in the flannel with bleached hair & apple watch, but other than him this is what an MMO dev team should look like.

They should look like that, but I was talking about the way they act or come across on camera. Most of them are so awkward and wooden when getting asked simple things about their job or the game during livestreams.

It's worth remembering that jagex pay devs a pittance and anyone with the skills needed to do the roles could earn 1.5x-2x or more elsewhere. There's barely any upwards mobility at the company. It's not that they intentionally hire these people, its the case that these people are all they can manage to get.

Ah deadman, everyone’s favorite shitshow. With this years special guest kemp q, famous for running a clips channel and getting banned for RWT. Now in the spotlight for creating a deadman swapping service that is a complete failure, here are some highlights.

- no cc to find or verify anyone
- changing rates from advertised right before deadman starts
- only has 5 swappers despite being the most widely advertised service, who don’t even have listed names until minutes to launch
- those swappers refuse trades for the first 15-25 minutes
- rates change again to be 1/3rd of promised by the time swappers start trading
- at this point the selling rates still haven’t changed and are still selling for full price
- people who traded on original rates are reporting getting payed in the new rates

This is already a pretty big disaster even for the sketchy business that swapping is, but this is a nightmare for a community figure. I have a feeling lots of drama will come out of this.

{before anyone asks I am not some guy pissed off that he got scammed because I saw this shit from a mile away and used my usual swappers}

I was watching streams of Austin 07 (who is an osrs debt scammer) and went down a rabbit hole to the worst tattoo I've seen in a while.

Let’s pretend for a second that getting a RuneScape tattoo is a good idea, why the hell would you go for yellow as part of the design. Why outlines too, very bad design ideas even ignoring its content. There is a reason most tattoos are filled mono/duo chrome using cold colours.

Ive seen one (1) good reason to get a RuneScape tattoo and it was this (already archived)

Well Sailing passed. Can't wait to see the clusterfuck around coasts and from Jagex fucking with coordinates.
It really got meme'd into existence. Holy Shit.

So, calling it now, in game riot happens because they have to remove Tutorial Island from the map because it blocks so much area to sail in - hell, that entire area around Karamja isn't designed for sailing as is...

Unfortunately not, I grabbed my fashion and cannon and headed to 330 falador the hour of the announcement and no one was there. I feel most are just quietly hoping it doesn’t suck to much.

The skill itself I could go either way on - at least it's not OSRS getting an Evolution of Combat - and as long as it isn't complete shit I'll be fine with it

I just know the player base is autistic, and seeing an island we all spent maybe 5 minutes on (ymmv depending on how many alts you have) vanish from the map might set some of them off
