Old tech you'd love to get a hold of

Forget butane, you should be charging your phone by burning wood.

Create a kickstarter for smartphone charging wood gas generators with fumes that makes the user mad as a hatter (according to old people).

It counts as old tech and there are some enthusiasts left.

The Nokia 6110 and later the 6120. I can swear by its durability and longevity. Over the years the savings that I got from that phone (and the 6120) and phone plan I eventually bought a 2012 Nissan Versa for 11 grand out the door. Sheeple at the time were buying those yearly expensive phone plans and i phones.

I literally wore them both so you are looking at around 15 years on 2 phones. Still have the Versa. My current phone is a LG Aristo 2 that I had for 4 years now. It does what I need but there is no comparison to the Nokia's, as I have dropped both of those Nokia phones while riding my Harley down a few roadways. Popped out of my pocket and when I retrieved them they still worked.

Good, solid, durable phones for the masses.
