I remember when you could change the background of your entire channel page and some were really hard to read because of it. Youtube had a really homie feel to it back in the day.
 
Honestly, I kind of miss Let The Bodies Hit The Floor and the 009 Sound System. I used to despise those songs and would click away the second they played on a video.

I remember when you would customize your profile, add friends, comment on someones channel, and make video responses.

I used to get chain messages from people. You know those kind that tell a scary story and that if you don't repost it the person in the story will come and kill you. Now I don't get messages at all.

If someone uploaded a movie it had to be in about 10 parts due to the 10 minute limit.

Someone posted a video talking about what it used it be like.
