Big ups to my nigga Johnny Rivers, an extremely successful pop singer yet still a somewhat underrated guitar player with an extraordinary knack for writing memorable guitar solos. Not a virtuoso by any means but all of his solos are tastful and always add something to the song, there's not a single note out of place.

 
A song then Simon & Garfunkel did after their break-up in 1970 titled "My little town" for a little reunion in 1975.
 
Oh, hell yeah Convoy. I used to play that from my iPod when I'd go on some family road trip with my parents. It'd drive my mom nuts.
Maybe stretching the definition a bit here, but I've been enjoying Todd Rundgren alot lately
