I couldn't get a picture because I was across the room and it would have been pretty obvious due to having other people standing around me. I don't know how he smelled due to the place smelling bad in general(the hotel had some air flow issues). I feel like he left the con shortly after that panel. I saw him talking to some girl and it looked like she was uncomfortable, which is pretty normal when weirdos try and talk to girls at cons and not getting the hint to let them go. But he didn't do anything super lulzy and didn't chimp out on anyone or anything in general.

I'm assuming people are being facetious, but I think it should be clarified that MOST people attending Omegacon didn't come to see Chris. He just ended up being a side show for anyone who knows of him. Omegacon is also pretty small only because they're on their 4th year and is mostly just local so that's why anyone outside Charlottesville won't have really heard of it.

If anyone is interested, my plan was to try and run into Chris and strike up a conversation, inventing a new persona to him but I never had a clear shot. So I went with plan B which was bat my eyelashes at the most normal looking guy there and get him to buy me a drink, which was successful.

I'm still very surprised at the fact that people can do this to Chris, just change a few things around and maybe put on a slightly different accent or tone of voice, and Chris thinks you're just a new and previously undiscovered galpal. We need to see this in action one of these days.

People expect Chris to be a three ring circus of wacky hijinks IRL, all the time.

My prediction for omegacon is: Chris goes there. He looks like a weird fat nerd. A bit weirder and fatter than most nerds there. He goes to panels, he plays sonic in the game room, he talks to people (including guys) and learns their names, and just in general, he has a good, boring time.

That's what happened at omegacon last year, that's what happened at Impulse, the gay events, the pokemon tournaments (that he's been going to for like a year or two), and whatever else I left out.

I completely agree with everything here. Like you say, people think that because he moved around things in a shop due to some stupid crusade once or twice and maced someone on one day that he's combative and always causing trouble every time he's out which isn't true. Like you say it's a case of people taking past events and assuming he's like that all the time that causes confusion about how Chris is in real life.

I was wondering if you could clarify the bit in bold though Marvin. Do you think that Chris actually instigates the conversations he has with these people or is it them that starts it?

Recently he's been lamenting the fact that people won't approach him and talk to him and it seems to me like he's as ill equipped to start conversation as always. Is it the case that people at these cons and his Pokemon club start the conversations or is he just more comfortable and easy going under controlled environments like these ones?

Sigh ... Man, you know, I find it depressing that things have deteriorated in our society to the point where Chris can go out to a grocery store and not shit his pants. What's with all the slacking off? If you see Chris out-of-doors and there isn't a thick, wet streak of brown running down his leg or puffing up his trousers, do something! Shout hello to a friend, sneeze real loud, throw an industrial size bottle of Miracle Whip on the ground! Put together a flash mob full of people in fright masks carrying air horns and rush after him in circles 'til he's slipping in rivers of his own excrement!

Come on, people! If Chris goes home with clean pants, then we have failed as a nation to do our job.

Call me a sjw all day but Cmon guys, lady in the op is like late 40 something or early 50 something, probably someone's mom or something, ya know, she has every right to look like an older lady does, alot of people's moms look that. Hard to find time to work out with a slowing metabolism; happens to people that age a lot.

Chris however. Looks like a 50 year old woman going through a miserable mid life crisis and has no reason to look like that except a horrid idea on how to get all the bitches

Also, I'm curious to see what happens if Chris gets trolled less. Like, I think Chris mentally stagnates when he's being trolled. Not because of the trolling itself, but just because it traps him in an imaginary world where there's no actual character development on his part.

When the trolling takes a break, Chris ventures out into the world a lot more. When the trolling comes back, Chris is back to humping blowup dolls on cue and fighting invisible enemies.

This! I think Chris is decent at functioning in regular society amongst new people but horrid at dealing with prolonged conflict. Chris develops enemies irl in real life like normal people but disregards all boundaries and eventually lashes out in an extreme way until the relationship is so unable to be salvaged he gives up. This is why hes so prone to trolling attempts to begin with. More or less, the trolls have all mashed into one unreconcilable relationship with one(a collective) person. He no longer believes he can threaten or videotape scream at them till they go away, they are like Michael Snyder, a cold remorseless person he can't win against. But with Chris after the big fight, he's out.

Seeing him get on without the trolls would be crazy too. He developed sonichu, attraction sign, woefully spergy cosplay in a Pokemon contest, his Adam stackhouse rage videos, his medallions all outside of trolls.

We forget sometimes that Chris did stuff on video without troll prodding before he was discovered. He yells about his f in English class, sends a message to the future, shoots stackhouse, does shitty contest videos ect. It was the mid 00s. People made videos to express themselves, cameras were cheap for the first time. And likely I feel like if he's allowed to develop he will do that. Or end up in prison. And raped. And murdered
