Imagine the mental gymnastics of saying that "yaoi is feminist because it doesn't use the damsel in distress trope". I don't understand why we can't....make more egalitarian straight romances? All the popular romantasies/smut I see nowadays that features a heterosexual couple always has the male lead kidnap, stalk, and rape the female main character. I don't think yaoi is the solution here, though. The sub twinks are still used as a self-insert for the female reader, it seems.

The thing I hate the most about yaoi shippers or just girls who are relentlessly critical of female characters (that may or may not get in the way of their ship) is that they only hate damsels when it's women. They hate to see those god damn HARLOTS being protected by these beautiful and innocent men. Meanwhile every trope they hate involving a woman is desirable to them when it's between men. That makes all their criticisms of women utter bullshit to me.
It's someone's fantasy, and that's it. Their fantasy isn't magically better because it involves faggots doing anal.

There were more than a few of them on Ovarit. They tended to be pretty vague about fandom specifics, but if you'd been around fujos for more than a minute, you knew.

I also once saw one of the original OTW board members like a TERF journalist's tweet on her real-life account. I think there are more radfem-leaning older fujos out there than you might expect, just waiting for the first big name to be their Fujo J.K. Rowling.

I haven't watched the recent Kino Casino, but people are talking about luminescent activity so I figured while there's eyes on that it'd be a good time to share this bit of forgotten lore about Shawn.

Back in 2018, Shawn helped expose a trans BLACKED underage grooming server involving a 16 year old transsexual user by the name of Traea/Nat Hemel, who had seemingly overnight suspiciously become a decently sized far-right account. He tried to share it with Jim and others on the Killstream but was too drunk and made a fool of himself. Anyhow, the people involved in the server had amiable connections to both big righty accounts as well as lefties like some transsexual communist named Cosmo (not sure who that is).

Aside from flashing the card of his FBI contact during the stream (don't know if that's unusual), the oddest thing about the whole scenario was that the whole Weekly Sweat episode was later set to private. I don't know when this was, because I only went back and checked after Shawn and Beardson circled the wagons for Nick and Kami's 10 hour catboy date. What's notable is that the same people in Traea's circles are also in Nick's circles, like this Stempai guy, who (to their credit) helped out Traea and their server in the first place:

Maybe Shawn and Beardson only took it down to put it up on gumroad or something, I don't know. If not, here's the stream. It's not enough to say "I'm calling out Ginsberg and NAMBLA and snuffing out pedophiles online": it's about spiritual warfare.

At least chuds pay conceptual lip-service to spiritual warfare; TERFs seem defenseless.

Part of the problem is self-control, but the other is lacking an alternate creative framework to express those libidinal energies (in the form of zeal) in a real, non-cope way: without that. the gooners are gonna win every single time. Where are the great chud or TERF works of art (I know the chuds of history overwhelmingly dominate art, but I mean contemporarily)?
