My most recent acquisition is a pair of Columbia snow boots with omni-heat dots that keep your toes toasty warm in temps as low as -25. Aside from those I have two other pair of snow boots, but I also needed these because reasons.

How in the name of Christ can they justify that price for something so wretched? Is it made out of actual leopard fur or something?

ETA: Has anyone here ever tried Gypsy Dharma boots? I've seen pix of their product and, let's be real, I would love a good pseudo-medieval leather boot to wear to my monthly sad nerd gatherings, but the price is a little steep for a product/maker I've never tried.

:powerlevel: I lived in a dorm that was next to the sorority houses during my freshman year of college, and pretty much all of the sorority girls wore those sandals, nike shorts, and slightly oversized t-shirts. That style is also weirdly popular with upper (middle) class teenagers in general here. I think it may just be a thing in my state though??
