After the timeskip he went under the ocean, just so happened to make a pit stop to Punk Hazard that no one could've predicted, ended up in Doflamingo's territory where Fujitora should've taken him out but didn't, then he was on a phantom island and in the middle of two Emperor territories in a row before the Elders finally had him pinned down at Egghead.

Considering so many of these arcs take place within a few days...the World Government just had no fucking time to take him out in a majority of cases.

That is the first part of the lesson. The second part is to not expect everyone to do their job properly. Who's Who lost the Nika fruit and they made a hissy fit which alerted him into thinking there might be more going on, as well as removing the guy who talked about Nika which basically confirmed it. He did not figure it out but someone smarter could have. They lost one of their best men in the process as Who's Who was Lucci's rival back in the day. Ironic, if they had kept him around, the Straw Hats would have been defeated in Enies Lobby as they did not have the means to fight two people of Lucci's caliber.

I think Blackbeard is trying to follow/improve on Rocks' plan to become king of the world, right down to the two Devil Fruits. The Gura Gura is pure destructive power (God of the Earth), while the Yami Yami is his trump card against Imu's shenanigans (serpent of darkness).

All the oddity about why everyone would team up on Rocks. They might not have had a choice.

We know the God Knights were at God Valley. We know Gunko is a God Knoght. We know Imu can control Gunko. We know Imu
can flip people. And we know he gets pissed enough to act if you take too long.

Which would explain why Blackbeard's first move was the Yami. Rocks got his shit punched in hard.

It would also explained why the island got nuked off the map. Imu got involved personally.

I'm also wondering everyone's roles. It seems obvious that Strussen is the cook, but who is the first mate, doctor and so on? Shiki has first mate energy and I imagine Stussy is the doctor, but the rest are a mystery.

Here's another thing: from this point in time, God Valley isn't for another 6 years, so how did they stay together so long...?

Part of me thinks Rocks never gave a shit. He just saw folks who were strong and powerful, and he just initiated a Davy Back fight to get them. All offense, no anything else.
 
Huh realisation that there is a non zero chance that Imu/Davey jones and Joy Boy may have all been the same person just viewed differently.

Also with Imu’s powers and Davey Joans now being things, I’m going to say the Davey Back Fight is based on Imu’s powers and that the reason Joy Boy’s former friends apologise is they may have been flipped.

God every time I try to look up One Piece content on YouTube I'm reminded of just how insufferably Leftoid most of the community is . It's not enough that 90% of all One Piece theorists are black for some reason ( KOL, BDA Law, Jay D Legend, Morj etc ), now we have white soy boys trying to claim that anyone that doesn't believe One Piece is woke is an idiot that doesn't understand "media literacy". It's all so tiresome.

Of course literally. Oda’s does not do metaphors and if he does they will at some point become 100% literal.

Thinking about it that’s why Imu might have done nothing. In order Rocks crashes in and we get told he is a follower of Davey. And with Vegapunk’s comments that the war from 900 years ago is still on going. There very much might be an incomplete game left to play out so Imu played a game with Rocks. Would explain why Imu does not seem to be able to move freely. Game rules say he can’t.

that does seem to be the case. he also seems to have picked his crew based on their talents/fruit ability rather than the davey back method like rocks. i wonder if he is trying to form a group that can counter anything. going back to everyone luffy and company have faced most if not all of them could have been beaten easier by just using the yami yami no mi. the only ones that might be an issue are non fruit users which he has a counter for in guys like kuzan or burgess who are just powerful on their own even without their fruits.

they also have van augur who can just snipe people as well as doc q who if he can choose which disease he infects someone with could very easily give someone something like that thing ginny and bonney had or even the same thing law had or whatever else. he even has multiple giants technically. he seems to have a plan in store for all of his crew members the only question is when the time is to use them.

much like blackbeards group they all have their own goals but know who to stand behind till the time is right.

I am absolutely convinced that the reason Blackbeard took so long looking for the Yami is Rocks went in with the stuff he thought he needed and got his shit punched in.

I really doubt God Valley was a simple 1v1 fight between Roger and Rocks.

It's very likely that Imu, the Gorosei and the God Knights all got involved in trying to take down Rocks .

It wouldn't surprise me if some of his crew also betrayed him during the fight .
Silver Axe in particular looks very suspicious, he's a probably a secret Marine working undercover, his X scar looks just like the one X Drake has.

This comment found on the linked video states exactly what i have been thinking about One Piece lately. I don't think it's a bad thin g that it has drifted to worldbuilding and the bigger picture, I just find analysing the direction the story has gone and how Oda changed throu8ghout the years interesting.


As for the latest capter, I am really curious as to why Gloriosa ended up joing Rocks without love sickness taking her life.


On an unrelated note., what is the most wackiest theories you guys have heard? Here are the ones I have heard all from the same youtuber: The sun god was the dragon in the mural that Imu ate, Gunko and Brook are related to Luffy, the Earth god is trapped under god valley and
Rocks showing to 2 sign when talking to Loki is him using his devil fruit rather than just sayintg he has 2 requests.
