Yes but that is no better. Having it be exposed that the Elders are demons is very bad.
Does anyone still not turned into an evil devil even know that is Saturn turning into a Demon being possessed by an even eviler demon? Like a Fodder comments on it being Saturn but I dunno that Kaido and Whitebeard even really hear or see that bit.

Yes. Imu must have told him that if the world found out his true nature, he would purge even more people.
I suspect it's all going to come back to the eventual massive world ending event on the horizon. When that finally happens the only group likely to be able to save anything more than a fraction of a fraction of the population is the World Government.

There's no unified pirate or revolutionary force, the majority of pirates skew hard on indifference to active malice to civilians anyway and most individual kingdoms will look out for themselves or lack the reach to do anything significant. While tyrannical monsters the top of the WG don't want everyone to die because who would they then rule?

If Garp was able to convince the world that the government is corrupt from the top down and there was a successful overthrow of them the aftermath of that would leave things even more chaotic and split with the end times looming. If the WG had a coherent plan and the will to carry out it out compared to whatever followed them the difference in lives saved could be millions.

It's a fairly standard Jump thing, a decision made to save lives means deaths and suffering.

Damn, the Magnet-Magnet Fruit is unlucky.

God Valley is gonna be to Garp what Alabasta was to Smoker, except Garp has the strength to make the win seem plausible.

Imu is running around with cheat codes. It can't be a DF since even powerful Haki users can't resist his Domi Reversi.

Also, last chapter, and therefore late and gay, but it was funny how Kaido got the Dragon DF and acted like a kid with a new toy he wanted to show off to his big brothers (Rocks and Newgate)

To be fair it's not like Rocks was at full strength, he had already fought at least several God Knights before fighting Saturn and Imu.

Again, none of the pirates really care about Imu enough to challenge the status quo or do anything to risk Imu being exposed as a shadow ruler. Anything beyond that is just endgame material that’ll probably end up being revealed because Luffy showed up.
i guess you could say at least during god valley nobody knew about laugh tale or joy boy or nika or any of the stuff imu would want erased so them seeing one of the five elders turn into some type of large demon is more just somebody using a devil fruit power. rocks and later roger dying are what really gets pirates interested in the poneglpyhs and finding laugh tale and the one piece. it really just feels like imu must think way too highly of himself and his abilities which i guess given what has happened to rocks is fair.

I wonder if DF users are the exception🤔

Would probably explain the Endgame scenario probably being only those with Haki and a DF being vital for the Final clash.

A sufficiently powerful DF user can out-Haki another one. Maybe Imu has stronger Haki.
800 Years of ruling the world might explain the power difference😂

The real question is "Is Imu losing strength?".

Because that would explain the Flooding of the World. It's easier to control the world if there's less to deal with.

Especially after Marineford caused a lot of internal division 🤔

my guess is that whatever power imu has is like a boosted version of color of the supreme king haki he uses that combined with a devil fruit power to force his will onto them and turn them into the demon things we see. the only people who i imagine wont be effected would be people who have a will stronger than imu.

that is where someone like luffy would come into play since not only does he have the nika fruit he also does not give a single fuck about anything enough to let himself be controlled by anyone or anything. that stubbornness is the key i believe and its possible some other characters may have a similar stubbornness that would prevent imu from effecting them as well. like for example i dont think zoro would be affected by imu either.

That would be like the reasonable thing.

However I think he has the Othello Othello Fruit because that would be fucking sillier.

Xebec D. Gigacghad got turned with as little resistance as everyone else. I don't think willpower is relevant here.

My guess, going from the fact that Imu sat in the shadows for eight centuries despite his short temper and apparently having Omega Bullshit power that instantly converts enemies to minions is that Domi Reversi has severe limitations on its use, which he is concealing to appear as an invincible divine being. There is very clearly some geomancy in work, alluded with the stone-turning effect from the game of go. It is possible that just getting his demons between two "white stones" (say, Luffy and Bonney in her Nica form) can instantly turn them back to normal. Another possibility is that it is only effective when the target is on his home island (in which case God Valley might have been a trap for Rocks from the start, a piece of circumstantial evidence for this is Saturn hanging there covertly). Finally, no DF user had ever been turned so far, so that might be another restriction.

you might be onto something with this. it would also explain why imu did not just instantly use domi reversi on rocks when he met him the first time.

Tl;dr: Geoff Using his leftist reaching and interpretations about the world government and Straw hat’s attitudes for being against villains to fight against his imaginary “one piece isn’t political* strawman villains. He also makes a snide remark towards trash taste for disagreeing with hasan piker’s luffy’ a a terrorist BS. (Though one point to never take this video seriously, or just be annoyed at it, Geoff says long ring long land was a legit commentary on cheating scandals in the Olympics……….yeah he’s gotten worse since his sao days) Reminds me why I haven’t taken the new OP community serious.

Do these people think One Piece is a social satire akin to The Simpsons and Family guy or something? Why is it that GrandlineReview of all people has the best takes on this topic, not only mocking Randy Troy's TDS but also making an explanation video that is rather neutral and doesn't shove his own views in it.

He's not THAT unable to always bring his liberalism worldview into one piece. I honestly think most youtubers aren't really into the show and need to get the attention from it by twisting the series as genuine serious take on their politics.
