I think you're reading into their personas a little too hard.

Even if they sounded that much alike (I don't think they do, Adams voice goes too high to be Chris) you're overestimating Chris and the gangs ability to keep a bit going without cracking up. They modded sm64 to have Mario make retard noises and couldn't keep straight faces through that

Too bad they went straight to peaceful run. Undertale is much better if you go in blind and do a neutral run first.

Plus Tomar's sparing as soon as it comes up. It's a small thing, but I wish he wasn't rushing through the encounters. There's some fun stuff in there.
