There is very little to riff on in a 8 hour game of civilization for sure. Civ gameplay is slow and drawn out. It's meant to be played alone over a really long sessions or in sessions over days. The player has to be focused on the game which also makes doing a let's much harder. Lots of the game is just simply looking over the map figuring out what to do next. You can tell Chris is struggling during the video to come up with shtick. I can't blame the guy because I don't know what I would be cracking jokes about in his position.

Civ let's plays tend to need a solid game plan and snappy editing, y'know? Ive been enjoying it just because seeing Zach enjoy himself with a game he loves (and that I also happen to love) and walk Tomar and Chris through that sort of is pretty fun. I really hope they did more videos since they just got to the modern era stuff in the last video where you unlock a lot of the really crazy destructive stuff like jet bombers. Hell if Zach manages to get the whole group into it a 4 man FFA would be blast to watch I bet
 
Can't believe we didn't get a Dave and Cory series after the FNF craze, I fucking love those two dorks. I'm sick of bored Oney, his two limp stooges and Zach coming in to salvage the channel single-handedly when the planets align just right.

Just finished watching the Illbleed video earlier:

Absolutely lost it at the part where they discussed putting a monkey into a hot air balloon with gun. When that branched out into sending up multiple balloons filled with monkeys into the air and creating a floating monkey civilization, I was gasping for air.

My favourite moment is the "father and the too many cromasomes" bit. It's short yet hilarious.
 
Civilisation is my favourite series in a while. I like when Zach plays and is engaged. Cory has been all over Chris's instagram this week so I am excited for the coming sessions.
