Tomar is NOT very meh. Tomar is vital to Oneyplays and if anything is underrated. Tomar might not be super funny on his own but he doesn't have to be because he allows for Chris and Zach to be the funniest they can be which creates good content. If you look at the best moments in Oneyplays for the past 5 or so years Tomar is in almost all of them. These are my top three and I'd post more but I don't want to spam the thread.
i think thats what the guy meant, but honestly tomar is the best at that because he responds to everything like a normal person. lyle is funny as a straight man too but he plays the straight man by yes and-ing what chris and zach say. tomar usually outright refuses to engage with the slander or hypotheticals which makes it funnier
Yeah with Lyle it doesn't work because he deflects with jokes or just adds on to whatever bullying they're try to do and that just kind of shut down the bit which I've never found that funny. Lyle's a funny dude but he just doesn't fit that role. Tomar works really well as the normal guy trapped with two insane guys which he reacts to and le comedy ensues
I think these just happen whenever Corey and Zach are in a room together. I remember the PopTart debate fondly.
I like it but at the same time I feel DD tried way too hard to not sound depressed. That or their voices were for some reason sped up/pitched up, I always get a feeling the magic was lost in that one. I prefer the Magic Schoolbus playthrough.
