You'd think actual socialists would be also pissed at how fucking stupid, confused, and utterly consumerist corporate garbage the game was... but, ah, right, Reddit doesn't have those. They have a bunch of jelly-people whose idea of socialism is "the stupid peons give me free rent, free food, free health care, and I can play video games all day because of my superior intellect." I genuinely can't fathom being sympathetic to that game.
If I had to make a guess, this might be the result of them hanging around more left leaning types and falling into the mindset of "our audience is gamers and all gamers are hateful bigots." Or more specifically they could be referring to the Sleepycast/"old Newgrounds" audience that frequently intersects with Oneyplays. Either way they seem to be convinced that the majority of their audience hates them for being gay/furry. I guess that's what happens when you read too many comments and fan emails.
It's amazing because DD and Julian (because they were rarely if ever not a package deal) are still considered up there among the best in the show. Only Zach -and possibly Cory at his spergiest- outranks them.
Ding Dong especially is so thin skinned that he might be complaining about 20 one off comments made years ago, even in the old 2016-2018 era Let's Plays he complained about the Youtube comments multiple times. I've actually tried to search for negativity in those comment sections and they're full of nothing but praise and harmless jokes. The guy just latches on to shit and Julian probably goes along with it because they're so co-dependent.

There's a few Julian-less DD videos that are pretty good - SM64 multiplayer with Oney, Rev60 with Oney/Cory, and Totally Accurate Battlegrounds with Oney/Zach are all great.

Maybe like one or two more episodes where he doesn’t really follow the story and just explores the castle. Maybe reference when he went on that Hogwarts online game and fucked with people.
My one complaint about the Julian and Ding Dong era of OneyPlays is that they technically beat Pikmin by defeating this guy but didn't show the ending. It's such a small, autistic thing but it bugged the hell out of me lol
