I read this before watching it and couldn't imagine it being that bad. But it was so bad
 
It's a pity that this playthrough of Sonic Frontiers came out before the second & third updates to the game, which even added an additional side story where you can play as Amy, Tails, & Knuckles. I doubt the updates would have improved anyone's opinion of the game, but there were some significant QOL improvements, plus the unlockable Spindash, that would have made for some funny moments of Corey launching Sonic at Mach 1 off a cliff.

They definitely wouldn't have made it to the end, that stuff's hard even when you're giving it 100% focus never mind trying to do commentary at the same time. Still, you're right that it'd be good for some antics.

After making my earlier post bitching about how I couldn't remember last year's Boneyplays at all, I decided to watch through them again.
Total night and day. These have been enjoyable. The 2022 ones are just tedious.

People are able to actually play off of each other and let jokes breathe, rather than Koriander interrupting because he doesn't understand that something is a joke or to restate the joke someone else just made.

If Dex edited that part for fear of copyright reasons I'll give it a pass but if not, then it further cements my opinion of him being the worst editor. Fuck sake even El-Cid and Naill were better editors. and they only did like two series.
 
Speaking of Corey hate, the tail end of the Sonic Frontiers series had a few references to the backlash towards Corey. Now while them bringing up the riots that were thrown over Corey was sorta funny, the interesting thing to me is that Lyle still seems to have a chip on his shoulder over being "The Worst" of the main cast, I guess the early Lyle hate really got to him.
