Dave and Adam, the best oneyplays matchup? Second only to Zach and Tomar of course.

I really wish we would get another Jontron guest appearance. His episode is one of my favorites.

For a long time I'd hope Chris would welcome on more surprise guests, like he used to so with Ryan and Matt or the special reunion with DD (rest his soul) and Julian, have a special series from time to time with specific people - I'd kill for an in person Doug Walker collab.

But I also always assumed he's wanted to keep this show to old or close friends only in a way that allows for full freedom of speech without possible backlash in the future, which is kinda fair.

Have a feeling old Man Douglas or any normien rando on a discord chat won't be super keen to seeing or hearing anything Smurf related, if you catch my drift.
 
They're never going to do an multiplayer session LP again, I'm almost positive of it. The only times they did that was during COVID, and that was probably forced on them due to living in Commiefornia. 3+ people focusing on a game they're all individually playing is going to result in a lot of dead air, and a lot of video editing that's probably not worth it. Why force Lyle into the editing hole for 2 days for maybe 40 minutes' worth of content when they can use AI and that Swede guy to edit 6 hours worth of Sonic Forces with just one video feed?

Also God damn is Dave + Cory underrated

Depends on which era. Maybe 2016 OneyPlays being able to chat with the boys and say dumb shit in the vein Matt did might have been fun, but it'd be a miserable experience to record there nowadays if half the hosts have actual uncontrollable autism.

Dave's a good cohost for sure. He has synergy with Chris and the rest of the fellers he's been paired with, and is just generally charismatic.

Cory gets a lot of hate, a portion of which I think is deserved, but he has his moments too. "Mother bearing hips," and Chris and Zach doing the "hey Cory" bit are some of my personal favorite jokes from the channel. Him and Adam are a rough mix though, I genuinely feel like a drooling retard listening to those two together for too long.

The "Hey Cory" bit was funny, but the entire time Zach and Chris were making jokes Cory was trying to shut down the bit so he could autistically scream about Sonic. It was funny in spite of Cory, and that's the main thing about him. It'd be one thing if he was just unfunny, but he always actively ruins really funny jokes so he can sperg about dumb bullshit no one is interested in.
 
The hearty laugh Lyle and Zack made at that joke Chris made killed me.


Also, has it ever been confirmed how the money for each episode is split? I assume it's a payment to the editor and then a division for each host?
 
You know what I love? Coming back to a series after weeks or months, sometimes due to waiting for a new episode, and then forgetting which one I stopped at.
Would it kill them to at least put numbers in their thumbnails? Or does the algorithm not like that, either?

I usually just wait until they put out a complete video of a series before rewatching it. Recently however, YouTube has decided it won't save my watch progress in videos if I leave them for a day or so, which is really fucking cool, I enjoy not having my place saved in a 2+ hour video. Thanks YouTube. :)

I made it a case to simply write a timestamp on a sheet of paper as I like watching these autistic 20 hour video essays. If you don't have paper, a .txt file on notepad will do as well.
Something tells me I will have to start one to keep track of Oney episodes too if this keeps up.

I was thinking of doing that too, as I enjoy PatricianTV's content, and there is now way I can remember my timestamp in those videos off the top of my head.
