The Beatles is a pretty good analogy because while they made some iconic stuff - the behind the scenes drama was immense and honestly they were kind of twats.

In case nobody has mentioned this yet (I'm late and need to catch up, went hunting all weekend, was fun) but I don't think you are allowed to be credited unless you are a member of the Screen Actors Guild/AFTA or whatever it is. Hollywood/TV has really weird rules about union stuff. People have had entire projects canceled because they used union and non-union crew which apparently would mean releasing that project would be illegal. I'm retarded and can't remember the name of that project, something to do with a dog? I think people have talked about it in this thread, actually.

Edit: It's Dead Meat by Maxwell Atoms, and the project cannot be legally released unless he completely restarts production with either a union crew OR non-union crew, but not a mixed crew.

IIRC It *can* be released, they're just holding the careers of everyone who was involved hostage. If it comes out, they never get jobs again.
