As a kid I had the Cap'n Crunch Crunchling Adventure game (basically a flash game), Amazon Trail (buggy af piece of shit), and Carmen Sandiego Word Detective. I spent the most time in Word Detective because it didn't crash constantly and was more fun than Amazon Trail (which DID crash constantly). My wife had Chex Quest and loved it, awesome idea for a game.

The closest person to being woke in that friend group is probably Lyle, and even he just comes off as a typical 2000s edgy Amazing Atheist-like liberal (although I don't look at his xitter, so maybe he's worse idk).

I mean you gotta be "woke" on some level to tolerate Cory and go along with the larp that he's dating a woman, after all, and all the fags and troons in their general circles. At certain point you'd think surrounding yourself with degenerates would push the "live and let live" method to its limits if he wasn't okay with it to some extent.

I think it's just the fact that the guys aren't typical "chuds" that makes people think/hope they're woke allies. They have pretty middle of the road takes on fucking everything, and occasionally lean more conservative on certain things while being liberal on others. Y'know like normal people.

Amazon Trail, holy shit you just unlocked a memory! I loved Oregon Trail as a kid, so I was super excited to get another game like it. All I remember is trying to trade a painted turtle to some guy because there was fuck all else to do. "I haff some 'tings..."

I also think a lot of them can't read sarcasm. Zach especially likes to parrot woke talking points as a joke. People think he's being serious.

also PEAK was funni, looking forward to more. Makes me wonder why the Minecraft Modded Server didn't properly get going
