Maybe I'm just autistic but I felt like he'd been a little more negative with Resident Evil Village where in one episode he'd be like "this is so cool, I love this" and barely an episode or two later he'd be like "this is actually retarded, why did they do this" when talking about the same thing. I dunno.

Good for them, I feel like the boys have been pretty reasonable with their view of the game. They've given it plenty of compliments and even made suggestions. It's likely pushed a few people to even buy the game just to try it out themselves.

If there's ever a 'finished' version with all the content I'd potentially consider it if only to see how much its changed. Assuming there's no further sperging out about people not 'getting it'.
 
The boys have been pretty charitable with Yiik. Not sugar coating anything but not just bashing it either. A full playthrough from a popular channel (that rarely finishes games) might be the most non-negative-bordering-on-positive press the game has ever received.

He’s getting ready to release the next patch to his game, and Oney is essentially the only reason anyone really cares about the game.

He’d have to be really stupid to not take advantage of that. I think the fact that he waited this long is probably because he’s about to release the patch.
 
I like the exact moment chris read birb he turns on the bird and forces tomar to kill it alongside its whole family
 
I fucking lost it when the names that Chris put on his party members in episode one finally appeared, and all of them fit the characters so well, easily one of the best moments of this playthrough.

At this point there is no reason to have these combat encounters. There is nothing new to experience in combat, and you either levelled enough to trivialize the encounter or you have to waste your time chipping down the enemies' health. Either way, it's exactly what you've been doing for the last 30+ hours. There should have been unique ways to deal with the different Alexes, like unplugging Pedo Alex's computer or flipping Fat Alex onto his stomach. That way you can defeat them without yet another slog through the combat system.

The sad thing is, there’s been no real point to the combat since…well, since you got back with the Essentia 2000. That month long training was pointless because the boss is a scripted loss, then you only fight for Porto-Alex’s that can all be oneshot by LP Toss, and the final boss is also a scripted loss.

And really, ever since LP Toss became hyper broken, combat is pointless, so really the last major and actually important combat bit was when you fought the mall rats.

AND this is all after the combat was patched to take like 1/3rd of the time it originally did.
