Man now that would have probably made a great game but Don Bluth is still going with Dragon's Lair for movies and games.

Same. I personally didn't like the games they picked this year save for Tormented Souls and Golden Light, and tbh nothing was legitimately scary like the other stuff they played in the past like Visage and Witch Hunt. The boys also sounded really uninterested while playing imo, their commentary coming off like it's phoned in or half-assed. @Saxxon did a great job highlighting each game and why they probably lost interest to continue playing. I just couldn't keep watching and pretending I liked such mediocre content (really breaks my heart to say this, OP are near and dear to my heart). Every year I'm excited for BoneyPlays and it's always been a grand ol' time, but it saddens me to say that this year's was a complete let down :(

I completely agree with you! Recently I've been watching their Bloodborne LP with Mick after getting into the game myself, and it's exactly as you've described. Their commentary was fuckin hilarious as Mick blasts through the game, there were too many moments where I legit burst out laughing. I can't say the same holds true for current day OneyPlays, so I'll have to agree with what some posters said, the magic is gone.:heart-empty:

I know Oney Plays is not about finishing games, but for me the ones that are legitimately bad that they get pretty far into or actually complete are usually the best ones. I think Chris is just getting burned out more than usual or at least it sounds that way.
Honestly I liked Lyle’s recent idea of them playing RE6 because that game is so incredibly bad and baffling to watch, but I don’t know if current Chris could handle it.

I think playing rougelites, bad games or good games but with someone who can play well like Lyle behind the wheel is the only way forward.

Zombie dino, then a sort off Ada Wong "clone" that injects herself with a new virus, that turns her entire body into this mass of flesh that takes over a whole plane or base.

Tbh, if anyone ever took the resident evil stories seriously then they most likely have negative IQ points
Other than that, the game is very fun to play and the kind of stupid I enjoy, most of the problems I see people having with it are either about the story or they are just copying some internet reviewer or something and havent even played it.

zombie dino the size of a trex that can morph into a giant fly or a manlet, cum-clone ada wong, the wheel from house of the dead, some russian nemesis tyrant, and weirdass slime slugs that can murder you in cutscenes.
