I remember the whole byleth thing but the cancellation just seemed pretty hard to come back from since it was the usual abuse allegations which he then admitted to, right? But what I'm seeing is people still having positive reactions to him being there just because he's Alex YIIK, so at least he'll be fine either way and Chris hopefully won't have to deal with said tards sperging about having Kirb on
 
I don't follow Kirbopher enough to know exactly what he was cancelled for, but Chris isn't the kind of person to buy into that kind of stuff too much IMO. Heck, every now and then some rando tries to cancel Chris but he just cares so little and doesn't react to it so it blows over real fast.
 
The problem with the the Kirbopher situation is less that he got canceled and was more that he willing admitted to being a shit head to his ex-girlfriends and old friends. If he just let it blow over he wouldn't have been as in much trouble as he ended up being in.

But he was every bit the socjus tard his friends were so of course he admitted to it. He thought the hours he put in meant something and it didn't. It just proved he was a disingenuous shithead that got what he deserved.

Chris doesn't care about that, though. He saw the meme opportunity and took it. Which works for him.
 
I never knew he got cancelled, nor do I really care all to much, I hope this series goes on for a bit longer too. It'll be neat to hear some stories from Kirbtopher about development of his game and possibly some YIIK stuff. And T.O.M.E doesn't seem half bad too.

Chris gets a meme for views, Kirbtopher gets free advertising. Both win, basically.
 
Considering YIIK is gonna have that big update and story being added, I wouldn't mind Chris and Alex YIIK himself going through it with all the ensuing memes and bullying
 
Somehow I went through the entire YIIK viewing over the course of like 9 months without remembering/realizing that Oney and Kirbopher were once Newgrounds contemporaries who collaborated on each other’s work. Last night’s upload of T.O.M.E was honestly super heartwarming. :)

Wait, it's getting another big update? Jesus, how many updates is this game having by now?
 
If YIIK can whip itself up into a competent game, I'd be really happy about that, I don't mind YIIK, yeah it's bad but I think it could be much better if they fixed load times and had a more dynamic combat system. I wouldn't want the story to change, honestly.

That said, the new chapters look like they're just piling more stuff on a broken game, I don't have high hopes.

Thing is, if were to fix the combat. They would need to take the whole game apart and put it back together. That clearly isnt the goal, its just stuffing more content with the guy going " There is this good enough yet?! Is it?! No?! Have more shit then!"

That's the funniest part about this update, this is gonna be another attempt at redoing the combat
