I managed to archive the new oneyplays before they took it down.

I wonder why they took it down?

YouTube's age gating is getting to be a serious problem. I don't know if people are talking about this or not, but I'm seeing videos that have never been for kids get flagged by COPPA and thrown in the children's section. A fucking Katt Williams Special is listed as "For Kids." Then when you try to appeal, it gets ignored because YouTube is actually run by fucking Google robots and not a single human watches these things.

And obviously the robots see bright colors and animation and immediately connect that with those creepy Elsagate vids. I always knew corporations didn't care but it's getting more and more blatant as time goes on. YT is begging for someone to replace them.

Not gonna lie, future generations would be much better if they were exposed to the Pimp Chronicles at an early age. They'd at least have a sense of humor and know to shun pedos.

Im so confused as to why youtube has bots that mark videos as "for kids" , surely just having a check mark uploaders have to mark is enough for the fcc , right?

Because YouTube wants to make money with ads. But it’s literally illegal to target children with ads the way Google(and thus YouTube) does. So they mark videos “For Kids”, which makes them have no ads(thereby the can’t be monetized), you can’t leave comments(because kiddies might see the bad words), and I think they won’t play minimized on mobile(no idea). Bots tend to alway mark animation, however limited, as “kid” because animation is only for kids, according to them.
 
COPPA was a big problem for cartoonists around 2 years ago but I was kinda hoping things had relaxed since then. I remember Cas van de Pol inserting something special at the end of his Frozen cartoon to make sure it didn't get tagged as "for kids".

 
Watching the “advertiser friendly” version of the Spoilers Ahead review really shows how stupid the system is if you can recognize the changes made between it and the original.

It’s just 20 mins of them both trying to do the most annoying Nostalgia Critic impression.

I actually saw some people in the thread suggest Doug do a Simply Artistic video with Chris, and I think that would be absolutely perfect.
