Not really on topic, but I liked Encanto. The guy who made the songs for Moana & Hamilton worked on this one. One song in particular I have stuck in my head.

I'll say this, least the 2D animation in Helluva Boss makes the exaggerated expressions work more than in say in CGI animation where most of the time it looks really weird and only on VERY rare occasions works.
 
I'm still hodling out for a YIIK finale on New Years. They couldn't have sat on it this long for any other reason.
 
In all the the comments to Veronica's tweet everyone kept saying how the animation was the way it was because "facial expression is really important to Colombians."

Now half my family is Colombian, I have not heard that shit ever in my life. Also facial expressions are important to all people and cultures, it's such a weird thing to say, it must of of been something these tards heard in an interview for the movie or something. Other wise yeah, thanks for reminding me why I don't go on Twitter.

Most of the world doesn't go on Twitter. It's very Amerocentric and even then it's like 3% of the population at most. So I'm not surprised they're being ignorant again.

If you break off from him, either it was a mutual thing or you stamper'd it, you're just doomed to be under fire from Twitter in some way and Chris just dodged all these bullets

Twitter antics aside, there is potentially an actual problem with her publicly criticizing another animated work while working in the industry herself. It's fairly notorious for blacklisting people who are seen as being difficult to work with. Granted, this is essentially a rando on twitter at the the end of the day, but all of the noise being made usually makes some more well-known people in animation sit up and take notice.

If no one is allowed to criticise anyone, I can see how the modern film industry is so stagnant nowadays, animated or otherwise.

I don't think Veronica was too harsh overall, especially with how she kept it to the film's visuals and not the people working on the film. That definitely would have an effect.

Don't you know? Having an opinion against the all holy Disney is heresy no matter how harsh. I'm surprised there's still a bunch of people (surprisingly woke) who worship the mouse after all that garbage "representation" and Mulan controversy.
 
That “Best of Guests” video must have really had some issues if it’s still not reposted.

It’s too bad they can’t use phones anymore since exposure to the Tomar Emerald has made them all emit a mild form of radiation that fries any phone signal within 2 feet of them.
