I thought it was a fan video when I saw it on my homepage, really unexpected - Got the feeling Undertale was one of those things Oney just decided he didn't like. The fandom is enough to put most people off the game, which is unfair but understandable.

Funny thing is DingDong and Julian left OneyPlays in 2018, so pretty conceivable people could be "long time" fans and have never experienced DD&J except in replays, which may have been censored. Faggot was used a lot when Ding Dong and Julian were the main co-hosts (I wonder why?) and I am pretty sure videos had it uncensored originally. Could be wrong, maybe my brain filled in the word, but I do remember they had to go back through old videos/compilations and remove certain things, adding the ape/monkey roar and the DONKEY KONG yell.
 
All this talk of faggotwords reminded me of one of my favorite bits of theirs that I couldn't believe was still available. At least until a few days ago, because it's private now. Here's an archive courtesy of Wayback Machine:

"I take it all back. Julian, you're not gay." is still my favorite part of this whole exchange.
 
Chris asked a hypothetical where he wanted a specific answer and didn’t get it, hence a hilarious argument over nothing.

I always found it endearing that Chris could say stuff like that around DD&J and they just brushed it off or made fun of him for saying it. And knowing that being gay was a huge part of both of their lives, in that it brought a lot of hard times, family trouble, and genuine harassment in their real lives, yet after all of that they can laugh about a part of themselves like that, it shows a lot of strength. Especially since they grew up in a time that really did not like people like them. Telling them they were unnatural and broken. Then they decided not to make it a core value about themselves and just another piece in their puzzle. It's just a part of them and it doesn't define them. Which is most gay people in reality. And not the bullshit crop top wearing, frosted tips, rollerblading, caricature you saw in most other media back when.
I wished the DD&J videos were a yearly occurrence.
A rant about muh fake friends and the stupid amount of impact they had on me growing up
