Most strategy game letsplays are very tedious unless you do a competative multiplayer match and/or keep it below 5 episode by cutting most of the boring stuff. I tend to like Civ 6 letsplays since they game goes fairly quickly and the major letsplayers of that tend to edit down the footage so it isnt a 50 episode slog like other letsplays of that genre.

I can't fault them for trying to make the most out of what they have, Chris seems to treat OneyPlays more as a day job to support his actual passions. One of which is making a video game... which is odd because despite running a let's play channel he seems to be teetering on actually disliking gaming. He rarely even is the one playing these days, which is why I have come to appreciate Lyle actually having the drive to move the game forwards when he's on.
 
I get the concern, but at least we know the guys are busy with actual work, unlike their former friends at Game Grumps. That's why the frequent compilations never bothered me from OneyPlays.

I mean ding dong played a lot when he was regularly on. Those shitty games that he only knows of where played by him not Chris.

I mean it's definitely clear that chris is genuinely enjoying making oneyplays but it is really apparent that he wants to squeeze every last penny out of it but yknow it's not necessarily a bad thing it just means we get a better bowlbo.

Ding Ding was not regularly working on his game (games?) when he was a regular on OneyPlays. Even now I'd hazard to say he regularly works on it. I get it's just him and Julian but it seems like their game will come out in a decade at the pace it's going.
