Lyle Getting all political again on his twitter feed. Nothing new but of course the Puerto Rican complains about everything. Also Tobususcus met Kyle Rittenhouse.

I remember him making a joke about how San Francisco was destroyed in that Playstation All Stars game or whatever, mocking people who think socialists are actually destroying San Francisco. I wonder how he feels about that right now.

Also since you mentioned Puerto Ricans... there are Puerto Ricans that would probably kick his teeth in for being so white in his opinions. They actually just passed a bill to restrict abortions; before there was no limit and now it's 22 weeks or viability except when the woman's life is in danger. In 2017 three quarters of the country opposed abortion. That's why I laugh whenever he goes on about his Latin blood, bitch is whiter than I am.

Tobuscus was a pleasant surprise, though. Very wholesome.

Lyle gets immediately defensive and angry anytime someone criticizes big bugman colonies like LA (see Adventures of Chris that has a joke about smog, the tamest fucking criticism you could possibly give about Shitstreet City and he immediately explodes) so it was pretty obvious even to me that he's a bugman. He's funny enough and doesn't usually bring it up on the show so I don't mind, but he's definitely my least favorite of the main cast.

Yeah you're right, and it's even more weird that he still laughs at jokes making fun of the left or some bugman opinion (remember his MEEEEEEEEN sfm video, lol) but I can only imagine the stuff we're NOT seeing when it abruptly cuts when lyle is clearly gonna talk more and Chris has to keep telling him to back off

Yeah Lyle is Mr. Mcdouchebag so I would assume we’re not getting all the bits and pieces from every episode.

I love the guy but everytime I see a new tweet of his theres a 50% chance I'm going to eye roll at it. I'd figure the latino on the show would have the most sense but apparently the nasaly kraut, the buff bagel eater, and the 2 funny potato niggers have more self control.
 
As a newfag to Oney stuff (aside from seeing shit on Newgrounds ages ago) I've been enjoying a lot of the popular series and finally got to YIIK. Generally it's super funny, but it does feel like Chris himself is trying too hard to be nice to the game. There is absolutely fun to be had with the game (more accurately, watching it, because the actual gameplay is nightmarishly boring) but he'll go an entire episode bitching about how awful the game is then suddenly exclaim how much he loves it. The cutscenes are funny, sure, but more often they're just frustrating. It's especially bizarre how he mentions at one point that he's enjoyed it more than any Mario game since 64 or something like that when their Odyssey playthrough was spent entirely with him giddy and praising the game at every turn. The boys even fought over the controller a few times.

DD and Julian are generally more measured toward the game though, and while admitting that it has its merits, they generally dislike it overall. Hearing DD begrudgingly say "Uh, yeah, there's definitely something there" every time Chris says "I love this" or something is funny.

I don't think Chris likes YIIK the way people would like New Vegas. I think he says he loves it because while I'm sure he enjoys Mario games for their technical achievements, playing through a game like YiIK is probably more interesting and entertaining in an experiential way. The combat is boring, the story is shit, and the characters are annoying, but together they make something original and something akin to a car crash that you can't look away from. Almost like YIIK was Chris's personal lolcow.
I don't claim to know what's going on in his autist head but like you said he clearly has many issues with the game and calls it things like pretentious extremely often.
