I just got done joining after wanting to for some time, so ay wasgud and I apologize for the long post before I start.

Been wanting to share some stuff I've noticrd recently about veronica and chris and how shit might have ended.
/co/ threads talking about LS Mark and her and obviously winds up having Chris mentioned, but there was an anon who came into one of these threads around April of this year who mentioned knowing Chris and Veronica through a friend (he met them at a party) and spoke about how Veronica would get drunk and too weird (screenshot from the thread it was mentioned in).

Recently, Veronica did a stream on Twitch talking break ups. She mentions a break up story with a guy she was on and off with for 4 years and then mentioned a lot of stuff that pointed to Chris (I made sure to timestamp the beginning of her story here).

And then I remembered that this anon on /co/ mentioned it months before veronica mentions kissing other men while drunk as well on her stream.

My bad if this is a bit too much, but yeah. I guess they had a rocky relationship on both ends. I feel like it's an exaggerated and cherry picked truth on her end in all honesty.

I don't think that's Chris in the story. There was no ambiguity at all while they were together, they were super into each other. That dude sounds retarded, though. Who the fuck decides to date their fuck-buddy whilst already attracted to someone else? lmao.

I noticed that too. It's really apparent in the Sonic playthroughs they've been doing with Cory and it comes off as trying too hard. The most funny oneyplays moments are spontaneous not roleplay's

Man, you try staying spontaneous and fresh during episode 26 of the most soul-suckingly boring Sonic game you've ever seen that's also the fourth one you've played in the last two months while Cory rants at 200% volume about how he can't jack off to Rouge the Bat anymore because his dopamine receptors are so fucked from being a degenerate coomer for thirty years.

I think the "one word at a time thing" is cringy as shit but it's not like the boys are being given lots of room to maneuver. I started out liking Cory and his schizo retard rants but I'm so sick of seeing Sonic games from them and that's all Cory's autistic monkey brain wants to play. At least Sonic Heroes is over...no fucking idea why they decided to play that one. It's not even one of the funny bad ones, it's just normal boring bad.

As far as the DDJ vs. Modern era discussion, I didn't start watching this stuff until far into the modern era and I think I like the more lax nature of the earlier stuff. Rotating cast stuff tends to be on the funnier side, but I think the episodes are generally higher quality overall during the static DDJ days. Really like Ding Dong's humor a lot. I'm more likely to skip a modern episode than I am an old one just based on the first few minutes, but I think they both have their charms.

I have to agree with that. The games don't really add anything to the show anymore. The gameplay is usually ignored and when something happens, it derails whatever conversation the guys were having.

I was hoping pokemon silver would be more podcasty but when they're not screaming and interrupting each other they're just reading every bit of dialog. They did that with pokemon arceus and that ended up being one of their worst series. Just go catch a ridiculous team, that's what people want to see! Don't spend almost an hour on the tutorial reading "you can use the menu to access the map" out loud for us.

I've always despised commentators that just read the dialogue. For most of them, it's obviously showing they have nothing interesting to talk about, so they fill the time with the text the game provides. But we all know Chris and the others can make material pretty much out of thin air, so it's almost worse.

Its so much funnier when they just get the gist and make up what the npc's are saying. DingDong was good at that. I don't know who decided they need to read everything, but I hope it stops.

Imo I prefer Julian and DD but have to give it up to Chris in general.

He managed to have some really interesting feedback during the Yiik playthrough as he was now his own game designer. DD and Julian had similar insight. They're also great because it let's Chris go off the wall harder while they remain more grounded.

Around Zach, Lyle, Tomar, and Corey, Chris is more grounded. He lets Corey tard out, and riffs on that. He has Zach do a tangent, and feeds into that. Tomar and Lyle are more grounded but Chris does not get as "out there" with them.

The show is good overall.

I actually went through the kingdom hearts playthrough again and Matt saying he was trying to fit in was such horseshit because he bounced off of the boys without skipping a beat and even said no-no words like it was nothing, I fuckin hate what they became but I'm glad that even with patreon their reach is so small and won't grow beyond stupid shit like the boxing match they did while some of the boys are getting some shit out (Where's bowlbo you potato nigger)

They mentioned BotW in a couple of videos now, I really hope that they either make at least one more episode, or once TotK is out that we could get a couple of videos on that.

That's another thing I fucking hate about most content creators. You build your fans/viewers to develop some parasocial relationship instead of using your personality to gain fans. i will never be unhappy about any configuration that includes zach, but while i agree corey flipping out can be entertaining i also feel like he hogs the spotlight to the point where everyone else ends up just reacting to him.

i hope they post more of the ultra-SJW saints row, that was some of their best content in years

These are my biggest issues apart from not finding the newer cast funny, I loved listening to the insight the two dudes had and to some degree I'm glad they were there to nitpick games to shit and back, because even if it wasnt insightful or correct, it was at least food for thought. Censoring the audio inmediately deflates the humor, I'd rather they switch to Patreon and get the YouTube money there than keep nigging it up with the sound effects.

(Sorry for bringing the topic up again, its just that every so often I rewatch an old series again and feel depressed at how its probably the last piece of media I actually enjoyed. Apart from shitposting here of course.)
