Also it really skeeves me out how Veronica is so much older than mark, kind of weird to me. Consenting adults and all but still, gives me a weird feeling, and not in my pantaloons

A US Green Card can be an incredibly lucrative and difficult thing to obtain. Being stuck with a BPD mess for a few years until all the paperwork clears is more than worth it to a lot of people not born in the US whom it would be otherwise impossible/incredibly difficult to obtain otherwise.

Same reason I feel that RubberRoss didn't seem too torn up with that drama, by that point he had his green card.

This is like a hollywood story you'd read in a novel or hear from someone trying to warn you about moving to hollywood/california. Young boy from ireland makes a sorta successful youtube channel, moves to holylwood and "gets to know" people in the animation industry. makes a cartoon pilot. All the while he meets the girl of his dreams who also has connections to the animation industry. He marries her, while she cheats on him. keeps on stabbing him in the back, and will probably(more then likely) be the downfall to his career, as chances are she owns or co owns some of his channels.

It takes about a year to process an adjustment of status visa to green card. I have a hard time believing they had enough evidence of their relationship. Mark is white so we’ll see.

Seriously, a ~30 year old man with a history of being disgusting in relationships getting close to a probably autistic barely out of teenage girl from across the world, and leveraging industry connections and a green card to keep her close while fucking around would be crucified by everyone currently whining about privacy.
