It seems that DingDong will have no internet presence ever again. He deleted all his tweets and unliked all posts made in 2023, along with deleting all videos from his channel and stream archive channel, and the only thing that shows up in his twitch is the last stream he did. Julian did say he was helping DD wrap up all his accounts, but I didn't think he would actually go through with it.

I thought his update was OK until he said this. It doesn't seem like he knows that DD never kept the full VOD up (and subsequently lied about keeping it up.)

On the plus side, he actually mentioned how bad things got. Getting a restraining order against stalkers from DD's TBG days sounds a lot more serious than 4 hours of "they made 4chan threads about us and messaged my old Facebook". And acknowledging that any sort of stalkers/hatewatchers have been around from well before OneyPlays/GameGrumps/DreamDaddy is more informative than going "we've been saying this for the last 6-7 years" (since that sounds like it all started when they first joined OP in early-2016.) It pretty much confirms that DD has always been shit at handling this sort of issue and that's the reason it gets so bad - it's not just because autistic youtube fans want them to keep doing LPs.

What do you mean? We're already friends with the OneyPlays crew! As fans of their content we're basically closer to them than anyone in our lives! In fact, let's all draw self-insert fan art in which we're sat on the OneyPlays couch playing Nintendo with them!

God damn, he's so righteous, DD should be gnawing at his cock over this.
I mean, the immense lack of self-awareness from claiming he hates behind-the-scenes abuse while also condemning the video about Veronica aside; what in the unholy mother of god did he expect??? It was so obvious that DD didn't want to be used as an excuse to get back at Game Grumps and while it was naive of DD to expect that not to happen Bowblax still fucking did it. He was still out there turning that small part of the stream into a huge spectacle. And here he is acting like a victim in all this? Like damn, I know the wasps in this nest really hate having rocks thrown at them but I was only trying to feed them! How did he not know the stream was that long anyway?
 
I hope that he does stay away from the internet, at least for a while, it obviously wasnt doing well to his mental state.

Hey, if he's actually going ground zero on it, good on him. I have to imagine it's not unlike the sensation you get when you delete social media accounts - utter, immense, immediate relief and release. There's a good month or so period in which you get that kick to go back in idle moments, but the easy solution for that is to just keep yourself busy - he's got a romantic partner, he's got a game he's supposed to be working on, and I assume he has friends hanging about to get up to whatever with. If he can keep to it for a solid month, chances are he'll be in the clear.

Of course, the thing to keep a keen eye on is this retarded bloxbax whatever-the-fuck turbo-drama bullshit. People are going to churn out endless droves of clickbait heard-through-the-grapevine shit about the DD's exodus, and he'll just have to resist the urge to correct the record on it all. In the past he's clearly had difficulty with keeping himself from the temptation, but who knows, maybe Julian can be his jailer and be handed control over parental controls or something absurd like that to make DD accessing twitter/youtube/twitch etc more difficult. It may sound nonsensical, but throwing up easily-bypassed-but-immediately-noticeable roadblocks isn't an uncommon form of therapy for people with addiction or impulse issues, really.

This is the biggest problem I have with Bowblax - he wants to act like he's this kindhearted, liberal YouTuber who cares about exposing abuse and trans rights and shit... but he's just as petty and ruthless as the rest of his drama-hungry commentary friends.

This is the same autist who, when he was still on good terms with John Swan, uploaded a 3-hour+ compilation of John Swan's Dream drama and then later pretended like he didn't know why John wasn't OK with him doing that.

And he has a frenemies-esque relationship with Tommy C because both of them still hold a grudge against each other over how badly Bowblax fucked up with the #InstagramWakeUp debacle a few years ago. It makes sense for Tommy to hold a grudge, since he's always presented himself as and owns up to being a grumpy asshole, but Bowblax wants to be friends with everyone yet still snarks at people on streams or in vaguetweets to keep up with the "edginess" of AugieRFC and Nicholas DeOrio.

In conclusion: Bowblax, cut the nice guy act. You don't actually give a shit about Ding Dong and Julian, so stop acting like you do. Everyone would've respected you a lot more if you just uploaded the video without giving some spiel at the end highlighting the fact that you understand what you're doing is going against Ding Dong's wishes, and just went the DeOrio route of outright saying that Ding Dong should quit bitching because he's the one who publicly uploaded a video accusing people of workplace abuse in the first place.
