They've both publicly talked about shitty gay annoying stuff he's done as it was happening.
I think when Arin was bitching about that one Sr Pelo animation a few years ago being "too mean", Chris and Cory both sort of called him out for being a hypocrite and not even being an animator anymore.
Their feelings are known so subtle jabs probably seem fine to both of them.
 
Has there ever been an episode without Chris? Also I wish Chris would do more solo episodes. His oblivion 2 parter was really funny in a childish way

That'd be interesting to see, closest I can think of to that is that 2 hour stream of 50 cent blood on the sand lyle did with zach
