I really do want to see a larger scale project from Lyle. The guy really has a knack for coordinating other people to create his vision, and I have enjoyed almost everything the guy has put out. I know he has a hand in Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss and Smiling Friends, but I want to see something created and written by primarily him. It doesn't have to be a whole show either, maybe a smaller scale web-series or something. I think Lyle could create something really special at the helm of a larger project.

I appreciate that Lyle has the restraint to create something that could totally be extrapolated as social commentary but then doesn't ever elaborate on it for the sake of the joke.

Also charlie basically only having bit lines was pretty funny, reminded me of those gags in animated movies and abridged series where the get big names to do one line

I dunno if this is an unpopular opinion, but I've never found Lyle's cartoons to be all that interesting. None, outside of one notable exception, have ever stood out as anything more than blandly generic mid-tier Newgrounds outside of the fact he gets some good animators to work on them. I think he can be funny, but I find his creative voice to not stand out.

However, I will credit the video I like which I knew of before ever watching OneyPlays or even knowing who Lyle was:

Undertale I could take or leave, but I really enjoy whenever Adam genuinely laughs at some pun or basic, silly joke.
Call me what you will but it's refreshing to see someone react with zero irony to things like that.
 
Does anyone remember the episode where Zach says "Your kisses are unreal" to Tomar? They are playing a game in a forest

they weren't tho. i have wasted a lot of time on this very fun game and i promise that the final challenges pre-canada would have wiped them out regardless.

also i know cory can be annoying but his role in this game-- repeatedly shrieking completely terrible advice while the others try to persevere in spite of him-- is funny to me. it's amazing how consistently wrong one gamer can be... the instant any option comes up, cory SCREAMS at chris to make the wrong choice

Death Road is one of those games where its set up to utterly fuck you up. Even with experience there's enough RNG events that exist purely to kill you in an amusing fashion that I think most people who've played the game haven't even hit the final challenge. Good music and mostly enjoyable gameplay that's formed around the seething mass of a very murderous roguelike.
