games can suffer from feature bloat, indie games doubly so since there isn't a corporate hierarchy to say "speed shit up, have it done by tuesday",
which is not to say chris or whoever are aimless, games just don't necessarily have a hard limit during development

tv shows have a defined limit, X episodes per season, Y minutes per episode. factor in the oversight that comes with working with a network and the hierarchy there

That's not a fair comparison. Bowlbo Chris admitted was taking time, Nightmare Cops has regular updates on Jeff's twitter, and Zach had pitched several times to AS(hellbenders) before getting SF made.

Shit takes time, and good shit with a small team takes longer.

Wan wan games and Bippy I have no fucking idea.
The patreon indicated they were having medical issues, and during the stream DingDong said he had finished the coding of (presumably) the rhythm game. So at this point who knows. 🤷

It's especially not fair for Chris. Ignoring OneyPlays, he's regularly putting out work. He contributed voice work, music and animation for Smiling Friends. He worked on a music video for Tenacious D. Shit he even had a cameo on Eddsworlds. In addition to working on Bowlbo.
 
Started watching the Witch Hunt LPdue to people here recommending it. It's super good so far, but man the game looks boring as hell. Was it one of those early access games, like the Sasquatch one?

It is an early access if I remember and the highlight of that play was the onion dip debate. It still rocks my socks off.

So I don't know how many of you have checked out Class of 09: The Re-Up, but it's the game Lyle helped produce and it's actually pretty good. Fair warning, it is a fully voiced visual novel so you will spend more time listening instead of actually playing, but the scarily accurate writing made me laugh enough times that I'm definitely going to check out the original.

Here's one of my favorite scenes so you know what to expect featuring Mall Security Guard Tomar.

I still love the fact that the OneyPlays crew can still make a horrifyingly boring game seem more fun to the point where I'd rather watch them play then having me to play it myself.
 
They should do morrowind multiplayer next so we can see Chris is all his snow monkey glory while Zach is an argonian, Adam is a bosmer, and Cory is a female altmer.

Oney has two playthroughs of it technically. Once in 2018 with just Zach and another one along with Tomar in 2020 when they finished it. The second one has I think a few more things added to the game. I played it and yea it's bare bones but it has great atmosphere and the gimmick of using muskets and flintlocks added to the scary tension. The whole game is just hunting monsters in 1700s America.

I'd give this a shot but my God I cannot stand Macks ( the other producer ) fucking writing and humor nowadays. His humor comes down to three things.
*Fast food reference*
*Nerds are losers*
*White people are racist*

To each their own, I decided to check out the game after watching through their second playthrough a few times and I enjoy it. I'm already on my 8th playthrough (I tried a permadeath run that ended fairly early on to the werewolf, so I don't count it). Like @Spit bucket said the game has a great atmosphere.

Also enjoyed what little of Skinwalker Hunt I've played (my laptop cant run it too well, even on low settings, so I ended up just having to uninstall it, since there's no point letting it take up space on my hard drive).
 
I've never seen anyone mention that that voice Oney and DingDong do sounds a lot like Oskar Kakashka from Hey Arnold. I thought that's what they were riffing on but I haven't seen anyone bring it up.
I really liked the chemistry with Oney, DD and Julian but I definitely saw signs especially with DD that he has issues with anyone going against what he thinks is the right thing. Even little things he seemed to freak out about. Then I see he's a perfectionist who hasn't completed a project in a while. Makes sense.
That said their vids always got the most laughs from me. I still watch clips of the Rugrats ones, PAAWWGERSH, Kingdom Hearts, etc. Julian is usually just the sort of audience self-insert laughing at the jokes, but he has some spicy jokes here and there that really made me appreciate him. Especially in the GTA ones. Sometimes it's especially funny because he's usually the least crass one and then he'll come out with some insanely racist joke out of nowhere.
Psychic pebbles and Tomar energy is definitely great though and I'm not really feeling the Cory, Lyle, Adam stuff so much.

Julien talked about how much he loves cum and how much he hates getting it in his beard and would routinely just blurt out which anthro character on screen he wanted to fuck. That's not crass to you?
