They were very right about that, at least. Even if they did the same fucking thing themselves by always devolving into "haha funny slurred voices/made up words/simpsons/weird sexual deviance of Julians". Any thread related to oney and the rest of the gang is basically just one long winded "member when they said the thing?". The youtube, unsurprisingly, is the worst with it with reddit coming in close behind. No wonder they don't interact with either one.

Lyle grew on me with the Lil' Skatey episode of sleepycast. Probably one of the better guest episodes of the pod really.

You know the guest that disappointed me a lot? NakeyJakey. Not that his own videos are hilarious or anything, but I thought he would be able to riff off of the guys better rather than being the most boring wet blanket of a guest they've ever had.

Usually when DingDong tweets, it's followed by a continuous stream of "error loading tweet", but I found no particular trace of a rant like I tend to catch.

Doesn't sound too dissimilar from the last couple tweets of the same type. He's kind of a broken record at this point so I don't follow his streams all that closely anymore (I prefer him riffing off Chris). The last time I recall a fun DD stream was when he had the G4phoria commentary with rockcock64. I'd legit keep tuning in if he did more stuff like that. Has he still mostly kept it to solo prerecorded stuff?

DD completely wiped his Twitter, Youtube, and Twitch back in January when the whole Game Grumps thing went down. And by went down I mean one drama channel made a video on his rant and he spazzed out. He’s been back recently doing really long livestreams. There’s nothing too special to them. He converses with the chat while playing some retro game (or F-Zero 99) for 8 hours straight. Seems like he’s reviving his Twitter and YouTube accounts now to promote the big Halloween stream him and Julian have planned. Hopefully it goes well.

I dunno, Chris Bores is pretty, for lack of a better word, boring. It's more his iconic self-directed roles that stand out as laughable but if someone directed him I doubt they'd get anything good out of him, even Zach and Michael

Jakey was such a fucking let down. Really like the guys vids and that short demons souls run was abysmal. But the dude seems really awkward and introverted, so maybe it being just him and Chris on top of not being the hyper curated stuff he's used to fucked it from the jump. Maybe having at least one other person there to help carry the load would have helped.

He keeps trying to detach himself from his behavior as a teen, but really the only thing that seems to have changed from then and now (or well, 2019 I guess) is that he's not "bullying" people anymore. He's still always miserable, he's still unreasonably afraid of the Internet, and he still alienates people who would've otherwise liked him by being so neurotic 24/7. I wish DD would just chill out.

Nakeyjakey was like a really watered down Lyle, who I also think is really funny when he's doing his scripted stuff but usually not quite as funny on OP. The best thing to come out of the Demon's Souls series was all the animations for Buff Dobby.

That's from 2019, fairly recent. I don't get this self flagellation he's so fond of. People don't care that much. Or even at all. Have you ever apologized to someone for something you did and they just look at you blankly? That's what Dingdong's doing.

That is a good point, but I'm still hoping Zach can be a good coach for Bores, but just my sheer optimism talking.

Because people do care, The WanWangames Patreon always gets a boost whenever DD have a freakout or they promise another game. That big jump during the start of 2023 is when he had his infamous rant and his ''last'' stream. Its pretty funny seeing how much disdain both of them have against the fans, while getting 7k for a bunch of vaporware
