it was in hour 7 of his NYE livestream of "Ballz 3D" for the SNES. The last two hours had just been a still shot of the title screen with looping intro music while DingDong complained about how certain people didn't understand or appreciate what he'd been through. Then someone superchatted him a picture of Jontron and Dingdong i guess had a fatal reaction to it and died instantly.

It's all on the vod. the title screen music loops a few more times and then you can hear julian come into the room. He says "Hey guys, I guess that's it." and turns off the livestream.

A little after the last upload Chris was streaming Runescape with Adam and a super-chat asked about it. He said he wanted to do an animation for it but got busy and didn't have the time. He also made these Tweets about it.

Taking a look at the chat history with my fellow YIIKer, Chris seemingly made some other comment confirming it had a pulse in April of this year but I posted that without context. If someone can find that Runescape stream too that'd be fantastic.

Later DingDong on stream talked about finding out how the cutscene engine worked in YIIK and he did one shitpost on Twitter with it with a text-to-speech. Then a while after that, he made these two Tweets.

Julian was asked about it on Twitch a couple of times but he refused to comment like he usually does with this sort of stuff.

The fact that they later did a collab with Kirbopher, Chris wants to do an animation, and they were fucking around with the engine tells me they wanted to do some sort of alternate ending which honestly would be such a cherry on top. Maybe Alex will finally kiss Rory.
