How would it be risking his career? In current year you're whole career could get rekt for 10+ year old tweets so I dont see how audio of saying these horrible career ending no no words is any different.
And besides, the dude plays vidya on youtube and most of his other work seems to either be self funded or stuff he gets through his friends.

I dont give an actual fuck either way. Like I said, it really just comes down to them not actually wanting to and not caring. The idea that he'd nuke his whole career for saying faggot or retard in modern videos just seems nonsensical.

Only in certain circles. Some other circles will be like "well it was a different time"

Peoples tolerance of that sort of stuff generally increases with the passage of time and while there are some who will never forgive or tolerate it, most people falls somewhere in the middle.

Moreover YouTube itself may be less hostile to an ancient video having those slurs, as opposed to a brand new one. At least during the appeals process. Where instead of a blanket ban you get the option to remove the old video.
