The fuck is Jill wearing?
Looks like this mod that put in some costumes from Resident Evil: Deadly Silence, the DS port.
Specifically this costume

Because it's a TV show, not a clubhouse. If your friends are so talented, then they should get their own.
This is an extremely childish way to look at the world.

It's less what you know and more who you know. Talent doesn't always translate into a job, at least without an in. Zach is offering his talented friends an in and you see this as a bad thing for some strange idealistic reason that's not in line with reality at all. If you have friends and you know they have talent why wouldn't you help them?

Nepotism is only ever used as a criticism when the project is bad, even though it happens everywhere. So it's strange to see someone criticize a good project with it.

Look Hollywood does it enough without being called out, that Zach getting the best people on the planet who happen to his buddy's shouldn't matter.

Pretty much this. Everyone does networking and everyone does it for a reason. Zach is fortunate to know talented people and if he didn't help them, he'd likely be recommended to work with random people who will still only be there due to nepotism but someone elses nepotism. Maybe a network executive or someone who got a gig for rick & morty due to knowing roiland before jumping over to smiling friends etc

Until we get a machine that can objectively rate people 1 to 5 stars regarding talent and ease of working with. It will pretty much always be up for individual judgement and most people pick who they know over some random guy because they don't want to introduce RNG into their project.

I recently picked up The Adventures of Chris after seeing it on Oney. They weren't kidding when they said it's good. I love the Chris character and how he brings up minutiae the way a kid would, like when he specified that he routinely eats salads from Outback.

A lot of people feel like the constant fat jokes were too much. Whoever wrote it must have had the real Fat Kid Experience, because self-deprecating humor is how fat boys make friends in school.

Who exactly are you expecting to get the jobs if they don’t hire their artist friends to work on it?
Zach did a podcast (I think something that was a spinoff of Vsauce) about getting people to do voices and that his hands were literally tied when it came to getting some people. Before Christchan's SuperSayinJin saga, he wanted to get Chris to voice an oily puddle for an episode, just for a single line, but couldnt unless he voiced more lines/characters. Zach has an ear for cringe, and I'm sure if there weren't gatekeepers in the industry (or regulations) the whole show would be nothing but Newgrounders left and right in every episode.

Is it a good thing or a bad thing? I'm not sure. But what I AM sure of is the fact that cringe or not I spent countless hours as a wiener-teener chuckling and chortling at countless newgrounds videos and would love to hear them on a network television show.

Also: Smiling Friends FDA (Fuck Dat Ass) music video, when?

Re: the stuff about new grounds talent,
It'd be funny if they got the "wehehe" guys on for an episode. But judging by the "can't just use one line" thing, probably never will happen.
The problem was that they already had Chills do a one liner and any more was frowned on for budgetary reasons. That's why if they wanted Chris Chan they needed to include him more, which in their eyes would ruin the joke. So its possible they could get some newgrounds person for something but likely at the expense of another strange cameo.

Didn't Grease have more than one line? He spoke up when they were going over the footage too, right? Or does that still not count as enough?

DingDong and Julian are streaming Diddy Kong Racing on the WanWanDev Twitch channel now.

I know its mean to want him to be miserable, but he has the same upbeat tone as on the YIIK review and it just puts me off. It sounds like he's medicated. I'm glad to see the world's finest taco man though.

The dude who did loudjunk must be in his 40s now, he'd probably kill himself if anyone spoke to him about a shitty animation he did 24 years ago

Hmmm... it's interesting that's the reason. If someone is just doing like a one-line cameo can't they do it for free if it's someone they know and/or just agrees to do it for free? Is there some kind of weird contracts stuff that says they have to be payed even if they agree to do it for free? I just seems like it shouldn't cost much if anything.

I got curious so i did a bit of digging as he had his full name on his ng profile, apparently he's a game dev now and worked on Call of duty Warzone, wehehe

New Video:
Judging by the thumbnail this will probably be a series, with Lyle replacing Tomar in the next part.

Cory being obnoxious again in this one
I mean its Corey, what did you expect? I do think he was extra annoying in this episode, including talking like a child about how "Can we please get what I want", and just generally talking over everyone else with nonsense which, while not unusual for Corey, seemed worse in this video.

The Whole "Can we please get what i want" thing was almost certainly a Joke by Corey, and not him being serious. I am retarded but not that retarded. However even being Annoying Ironically is still really fucking annoying.

Back in the day Chris and his friends used to tard wrangle Cory when he got overly spergy and annoying. He'd tell him to shut up pretty frequently on the Sleepycast and even in the early episodes of Oneyplay.

If it's a joke it isn't funny.
