The mrbeast tranny's twitter handle has always had "Kris" so I thought he spelt it that way, so I just use Kris for him, because only retards and faggots use that spelling of the name.
 
A lot of people forget the era that Oney, Zach, Corey, and Shad are from. It was an era where hillary clinton and conservative politicians in America were trying to demonize art and video games as a moral problem. a common argument against this is that its not real, its pretend. people like shad take this to the extreme to push this idea (and also because they're probably a pedophile).
anyone who is a free speech advocate should understand this position. it boils down to the classic argument of "what is porn?" If you cannot answer that with a definition that will hold up for decades you can't ban it. I think that is where a lot of the oneyplays group is coming from as far as the shad issue is concerned; he is an edgy artist who as far as we know never actually did anything involving irl children (although his art based on real kids arguably crossed that line).
I know we're in an era of conservative resurgence as a reaction to fags and trannies, but its worth noting how different things were 10-15 years ago and being an edgy artist pushing the line was a point of pride because it made the people in power mad. Now the people in power seem to love fucking kids so...

Not playing devil's advocate here, i think shadman is a pedophile especially after the keem shit, but didn't chris and Zach live with Shad for a bit. I recall this episode of sleepycabin where Nikki and Sab talk about having chats with him in the kitchen at like 7am:
Regardless my point is that it was probably hard for the sleepycast and oneyplays people to completely disassociate given he was their roommate at the time. Idk what the timeline is but I havnt heard oney mention Shad since sleepycabin ended. Regardless i don't believe that Chris or anyone at oneyplays was unaware of what Shad was posting that shit spread everywhere, I recall the larry/pickle rick image being in every cringe youtuber thumbnail.
 
I think it has more to do with randos constantly contacting Oney (and almost certainly the rest of the crew) over his various "concerning" associations over the years. I remember redditors having multiple strokes over his "alt-right" friends.
I imagine that, after the hundredth request to disavow someone, you just ignore people making such requests. That and the fact that they come from the edgy, boundary-pushing, everything-is-permissible era of the internet probably made shadman appear like just another edgyboi until he went completely off the rails.
 
Castle Crasher's is getting some kind of update that adds player customization. I kinda just wanna say something about Jeff's art. I think he keeps getting worse with only improving details you see in the drawing. I'm barely a novice at art but something about his style changing over the years doesn't sit right with me.

That's the thing, when you know someone personally and they're a close friend to you, you feel like you know them well enough to understand their actions. I think that's what Shad was capitalising on entirely. It is very true that you'll find people that create weird or crazy art are more normal than you'd expect them to be, that's very much how they saw Shad. I also just don't think they saw him being a blatant creepo simp towards Lt Corbis and other kids on his Discord, or disassociated once they did see it (we know Cory definitely did that given those screenshots of their Twitter squabbles).
