Is this supposed to be a good comparison? Cause it's not.
This dude was apparently working a full time wagie job and doing the game in whatever downtime he had. Chris is a well off youtuber who banks like 15 videos in bulk and drip feeds them while, presumably, spending the vast majority of his time doing the game with access to a lot of resources and connections the security guard wouldn't be privileged too.
Beyond the fact that game dev is hard work, I see no similarity between the two. I also don't understand why people have such a parasocial relationship with Chris. The dude doesn't care about you, doesn't know you exist, and doesn't need fanboys running defence for him.
