i really tried with the .io games video (in part because i've wasted plenty of time on .io games INCLUDING the pirate one, which was fun as fuck) but the combo of adam and lyle is just too much for me. plus chris was just acting spergey and "random." bad stuff all around imo

EDIT: Further evidence this exists, a reply to a now-deleted tweet mentioning Rugrats in Paris. CalMoray is an artist who has done merch and thumbnails for them. And for the record, Rugrats: Studio Tour was in February of 2017, so by this point, they had already done both Search for Reptar and Studio Tour.

DingDong was playing it either on his stream or The Best Gamers, along with a bunch of other N64 slop. I think it was the same stream he had Cory on while playing the Power Rangers game and he kept making Asian driver jokes about the Yellow Ranger wrapping their car around a telephone pole. It MIGHT be archived somewhere.

I can imagine the type of person who unironically likes Adam but hates Cory and I never wanna meet them IRL. It also is very clear Adam has a drug problem yet they just kind of laugh it off. We see how well that worked for Shad.

After that Lyle Trump tweet, he's kinda been grating on me. I think he's at his best when he's playing a game he enjoys/is decent at like DMC and Metal Gear Rising. I think he works best with Tomar because he kind of mellows him out a bit and gets him off his edge rants.

I'm still sad they didn't finish FFX, it would have been the kingdom hearts series for the Oney+Tomar+Lyle line up.

phucker in the ashes let's play read may not be for everyone (I liked it) but you can't deny that Lyle is born to voice Hiroshi Honda.

I posted this in the alternate timeline KiwiFarms pre-Destiny crash, but I would love to have a full-blown, long discussion as to what everyone's theory is on the YIIK finale.

For my money, I bet Chris wanted to do an animation (maybe even a 3D animation) and brought Kirbopher in to record dialog. Ding Dong then got excited about it and insisted he wanted to do something as well but overpromised and never delivered.

The only option where the YIIK finale is coming out would be that they directly contacted the developer to get his approval, maybe even some assets, and he said it would be great if it was released in conjunction with this new update (didn't they just get an extra content update or was that just a preview for this one?). Now that it's released, maybe now it can come out.

Thoughts?

It's probably a combination of everything.
1. Afaik English isn't his first language. He can speak it fast and well enough but it is obvious he's ESL and his accent comes across as less of an accent than just sounding retarded (common for Swedish accent, see PewDiePie)
2. He is probably high a lot of the time when they do videos. I would be willing to bet a lot of the Oneyplays guys are at least drunk while filming a good percentage of the time.
3. He's terrible at reading in English, but good at speaking. It's common enough for ESL people to have one strength over another. Could be he's just not into reading at all or just English in particular.
4. He could honestly have a TBI that he's just never talked about. There's a couple YouTubers that I watch who have this who also speak in that slow, sloping kind of manner, and might also be why he's so bad at reading and processing information.
5. He plays it up for the streams because people comment saying it's funny.

Chris said in the episodes that they got Kirbopher to do some voices for a bit in the YIIK finale, and IIRC Ding Dong in some stream said he was working on animating something with the YIIK characters. But (again, IIRC) Chris said in a stream that the bit was never finished, and the rest of the episode was them silently watching the ending cutscenes, so they decided to just scrap it.
I also had the idea that they talked to the dev and were going to put up the episode alongside the I.V. update, which was supposed to come out years ago, but Chris saying "It's over" kinda crushed that thought. But who knows, :optimistic:anything is possible:optimistic:.

Whoah, when did he say this? Do you remember the context? Cause I do remember him specifically making a post in Reddit post-Kirbopher saying that it was happening and everyone hanging on to that for the past year or two.

I guess it could've been during a Runescape stream which I didn't care to watch.

Someone was nice enough to post the exact video yesterday but i guess the constant crash of the site messes it up but yeah, he talks about it being cancelled in a Runescape stream.

To his credit, I never realized he was foreign. I just thought he was constantly on meds.
 
DingSong seems a bit backstabby with all of his "well on ONeyplays we kept getting notes to be more zaney". LIke isnt your job to be funny? Would this nigga call mcdonalds an abusive workplace if they told him to salt the fries? He seems to have legitimate grievances, then takes everything else out of context to push it under that abusive workplace umbrella

Didn't Chris, Lyle, Tomar, and Zach do a Q&A panel this year or last year and got asked how often they record inebriated, and they all pretty much said that since SleepyCast, they've never recorded drunk or high since all the episodes where they were drunk and high were shitty? I dont know if that extends to the other cast mates, but I'm positive for sure Adam is either high a lot of the times he's in an episode of he's completely fried from being recently high as fuck.
