He always claims he never wants to go into his "woe is me" drama and yet he brings up some "tragic" event in his life every single stream and rants about it for hours.
Makes me question the legitimacy of his stories.
At the very least he went into a little detail about the previous place he moved to. I can believe that some guys are revving their trucks around and spray painting a place, and a place who would do a community movie night for (maybe) 'The Sound of Liberty' would probably give a gay interracial couple the sink eye. But for something like that to still happen after moving - he either has bad judgement for where he's moving to or has shit luck.

I think Wafting put it well;
I didn't catch anything overt. He seemed to be alluding to a general sense of dread and doomerism in his circles. When you're terminally online person of "alternative lifestyle" the people around you are going to be acting like the sky is falling when anything remotely populist happens. His mood was still good so I guess he knows none of this is coming for him.
Eight years ago we had furries and porn artists on Twitter thinking that right wing death squads were coming for them, and their "life saving medication" would be taken away only for that to not happen. If that's a bulk of his friends then some of that's going to rub off on him. Julian also also said that his mom sent him to conversion camp as a kid so he's probably wary.

Did that actually happen with the other woke games?

Did a quick look and unless I miscounted there were a total of 171 new videos in 2024 (regular episodes, so not counting complete series, best ofs, merch announcements, or one off videos like the Eggman won ai song.) and Zach was in a whopping 15 total (8.7%).
2025 is much better, zach has been in every single video so far

Zach never mentions libertarianism in that series. All he does is poke fun at the political catchphrases the game uses to appear intelligent. This man, too, is using big words to hide how he is whining impotently: "They hate it because it references sociopolitical constructs they want to pretend they're compartmentalized away from."

Where and when did this gaggle of humorless troons come from? I've almost never seen anyone being upset in their comments or bring up the typical political cancer before.

Repeat after me the mantra of the unfun:

I shall never have fun.
Everything is political.
Nothing is ever a joke.
