Does Chris make enough money off YouTube and 4 year old pins to pay multiple editors and his co-hosts a liveable wage? I know he probably saves money on Dave's salary because he's a slave and doesn't pay him, but even still I can't see him making enough to survive living in California, let alone paying others as well

According to Social Blade, his channel got 13M views last month. If we assume he makes 5 dollars for every 1k views, that means he makes 65k a month. The number probably fluctuates but it's probably solid every month, considering how strong his fanbase is.

Sometimes it's best to not think about how much youtubers make for playing video games or reading creepypastas.

Where are you getting $5 per 1k views from? Social blade itself puts the earnings between $3.2k and $52k. And from what I've heard gaming content tends to be on the low end in terms of payouts. Either way I don't think they're making even close to that much from YouTube alone.
