Remember when you hacked shinies in by making an action replay code that made every encounter a specific pokemon while the code was active? I literally had a shiny swampert that knew everything BUT water based moves.
Paying someone for that shi and not even being able to rename it is the dumbest thing ive ever heard especially considering any current pokemon game will be completely forgotten about in like a year and despised.

I don't disagree, the game itself is terrible for many reasons. I played Gen 1-3, skipped to Gen 6 (because of the Gen 3 remake), played a tiny amount of Gen 7 (hated it), now skipped to Gen 9. I only play for the battles, but they have made raising Pokemon easier over the years. Pokemon Showdown is superior to the games, especially now that they are just breath of the wild too.

Loved gamesharking teams to battle my brother with in Pokemon Stadium 2, but these days most people don't want to risk getting their Switch account banned since they are doing that now.

I remember the gen 4/5 proxy method, setting up with a specific website to grab your faves after they got genned. Weird to see Pokemon discussion here. High potential behavior.

I actually thought Legends Z-A was pretty good, personally, but you can see my bias. It wasn't as good as it could have been but it was okay. A good playthrough, once.

At least this time around I didn't have a weird repression of the memory of watching the nutshack when it first aired on TV. 2016 era nutshack posting was like sleeper activation codes or some shit because I remembered shit and then would look it up and yes it was a real episode I did watch when it was on TV.

I wasn't scarred by it or anything despite the low ass budget flash animation which made the weird memory gap till someone mentioned it all the more surreal back when nutshack shitposts started ramping up even stranger.

-Diddy Kong Racing is fun
-They played Blue Dragon and liked it
-Talked about how counting frame data in fighting games can translate to others
-Talked about how Tager in Blazblue was developed very poorly
-They have some music for their rhythm game
-DingDong is talking to / calling family again
-Said he had a fun Halloween and got kids hyped as DD+J gave out Pokemon cards
-They have some VODs saved that will go up on their website once it's finished
-All uncut Halloween / Christmas streams of theirs will also go on their website

Something I find sort of funny is DingDong is a game programmer who can pick apart exact frames in a fighting game, but competitive Pokemon having tiers is confusing and absurd to him. Maybe anything sounds funny or weird if you're not immersed in it, but I think him of all people could intuit that some Pokemon are numerically superior to others.
