I'm surprised Cory would even mention it, tbh. At the very least she was surrounded by people who cared for her, and he presumably got to be there when she passed. Tough way to start the year.

Fuck, it's hard to joke about. Cancer is an awful thing to witness. Hospice is essentially mercy killing with morphine. Spazkid just had his heart ripped out.

The one I'm thinking of is Chris, Zach and Dave. I thought they only played Donkey Kong Country but they apparently also did a couple of episodes of Kirby Super Star. Zach and Dave are funny enough, but I don't know why they'd ever be on an episode together expect that Dave was visiting Chris in California and Zach came over. The reason why I think its a strange pairing is because of their style of humor. Zach embraces absurd situations and a lot of Dave's humor is embracing cringe culture with open arms. Zach and Dave do bounce off of each other well enough it just sounds like Dave has baby zoomies and is making noises when they are together.

Chris, Zach, and Ding Dong playing Totally Accurate Battle Grounds is probably the strangest pairing on the channel. I understand his reasons for leaving but it always made me wonder what kind of chemistry he'd have with the other regulars.

I doubt it. Family members dying in hospice is a thing you see coming, in my experience. Often in retrospect, the worst part is the waiting. But the waiting is better than something sudden like an accident in my opinion.

Hopefully Cory’s only ongoing episodes being Astrobot means he was able to be there.

It was a chill pairing that I think would have had some real golden nuggets. Isn't that where Mr Peter Schmidt came from?
