About 12 years ago I complained on a forum about SuperEyepatchWolf and Jacksepticeye being huge faggots and asked if there were any good Irish streamers, got recommendations to watch Chris and it was a relief
Still haven't found many more decent Irish streamers since

Back around when Ding Dong and Julian were the mainstays of the channel. The RE4 playthrough was my first exposure IIRC. I had to do a double take when DD&J returned for Halloween and they finished it after like five years hiatus.

I got into the JonTron era of Game Grumps after it happened. I tried the newer ones, but I didn't like them, then I found the Simpsons Hit and Run playthrough and laughed my ass off. That's when I found out the people on the episode had a channel that was way funnier than current Game Grumps. So around the middle of 2017. I hadn't watched any of Sleepycabin yet, so when they brought back Zach and Tomar as replacements, I was worried, but I quickly found out that they too had amazing chemistry. From there, I found out about Sleepycabin and watched through those.
 
I'll never not laugh when the guys are talkin about women and relationships, only for Cory to chime in about his trannyfaggot boyfriend Lexi. Yes Cory, I'm sure your experience with sucking cock and fucking delusional men in the ass is relevant to the straight men on the couch with you. Afterall, you call the fella your girlfriend so that means he's a woman. Everyone else agrees apparently, so I see why he does it.

I watched Sleepycabin and was aware of Oneyplays for a while but wasn't really into Chris' solo stuff on the channel (which is mostly what it was at the time). Then one day I saw a video of Chris and Arin from GG playing Uncharted and even though at that point I was thoroughly tired of GG I gave it a shot and was immediately hooked. Right after those videos he started playing with DD and Julian and those were even better. Crazy that that was almost 10 years ago.

I grew up watching Zach and Oney cartoons and listened to SleepyCast while it was coming out but never gave OneyPlays a shot until 2020 for some reason. Started with the Worms series and kicked myself in the ass for all those years I was watching Game Grumps instead. Now I've gone back and watched damn near every video. I, for one, love the old DD & J stuff, actually, despite never knowing who they were beforehand.

I was figuring out what wacky hijinks the GTA5 trainer could do around the same time the Motifa videos came out so it was a pretty obvious algo pull for YouTube to bless me with. That made YouTube put OneyPlays on my front page nonstop for a while and I almost blocked it out of annoyance, but then I realized this was the same guy that did Leo & Satan and from that moment I was forever Stockholmed.

Was looking up Brown Brick videos and saw their Inspector Gadget playthrough, was hooked ever since.
