It was brought up earlier but regarding the channel getting boring
there really isn’t a decline as more of “doldrums periods” where they play games that offer no substance to joke or laugh about. As opposed to them getting ahold of some bad AAA game with millennial writing ie: dustborn, marvel, forspoken. Or something creative oriented where they have an ability to make joke characters like graffiti kingdom or tomodachi life. Or something that they know about like the Simpsons, sonic, kingdom hearts where they have a topic and do the silly voices.

The explanation Zach and Michael gave behind Smiling Friends ending feels really underwhelming. The show was by all standards still confined to its own niche and felt nowhere close to the status of "popculture icon that's overstayed its welcome". At the end of the day guess it's a bummer but it's their show so nobody is gonna force them at gunpoint to create more if they really don't want Smormu

Why do I keep seeing random spergouts about jews cancelling the show? I mean I'd be happy to add to it but I don't get it at all. Don't really have the stomach to delve into these fandoms, I'd rather listen to 10 hours of Corey describing something degenerate and factually wrong.

Which episode is this from? I stopped watching somewhere mid season 2.
It's the last scene of the latest episode, season 3 episode 8. Jimmy Durante says that no matter how different we are we can learn to get along, except for a certain group of people and we know which group he's talking about. The joke is there isn't a specific group he's referring to, it's whatever the first group that comes to your mind and for most people it was the Jews

When you put it that way, doing a podcast with your friends while you play a game actually is pretty tough. I mean what the fuck are you supposed to talk about if the game isn't giving you easy layups every 3 minutes or it isn't about one of the 5 pop culture things from your childhood you actually like?
Baby hungry. Baby want pizza.

I think the way people are reacting to the show ending is more validation than anything they else they could have gotten. The show is fine, but there's not much there to milk. Better for the show to be short lived than keep it going and devolve even further into "lol random" humor and lifted bits from oneyplays.

The xitter algorithm gave me a handful of Oneyplays-adjacent accounts recently and one of them was a girl who was a big Cory fan. She drew chibi Cory and shipped him with chibi Chris. She also drew them both in that weird "Pim in heat" style making out and shit. I don't like having the knowledge that these people still exist. I thought we left that behind in the 00s
Charlie it hurts
