Only time in a Souls game I've had to grind was when I kept faceplanting against Orphan of Kos. Nothing forces you to play like an autist if you don't want to be the absolute min-maxingest.

They're boring to watch because the point of playing them is feeling yourself improve and overcome shit, as well as exploring and mapping out the levels; I think they almost without fail are boring to watch unless it's someone playing a ridiculous-ass mod that randomizes everything.
If I told you that I enjoy playing Sekiro, would you stop defending the precious honor of dark souls?

It's a really flawed game, the controls are way too much for something like Oneyplays guys. (The tutorials hardly go through any of them and they'll probably skip them).
And (my personal opinion) watching someone let's play a 50h+ RPG is goddamn torture. I doubt the boys will play much more than the first act for shekels and even that might be too hard for them seeing their FPS skills.
They'll probably just do a couple of videos for it during the hype and then let it drop off. So I wouldn't worry too much about it.

The one refreshing thing I enjoy about Oneyplays now is that because of the rotating cast you'll usually find something refreshing between Lyle and Zach being swapped around. Like them playing Metroid at the same time has been great since you get two different experiences between the third person.

I'm hoping that the game either breaks or crashes and then they switch to another game like how they did for avengers

The game already broke during the opening cutscene. Remember the palm trees flashing inside the bar?

Or the police warping into the scene.

That's one thing but I meant that it REALLY breaks like you've seen in all those clips, cars flying into the air or at you, civilians spawning all at once killing the frame rate even more, animations bugging the fuck out, stuff like that before it finally crashes and then they boot up hulk again

I don't think they will play the entire story, Chris doesn't like the gameplay.

Welp, it looks like OneyPlays has officially rebranded.

You no longer have the right to complain about them complaining.

I made a joke about how they would only do one episode of cyberpunk. It kinda sucks that they rarely finish games, when with ding dong and julian, they finished stuff all the time.
I agree that it does suck that they don't complete as many games any more like they used to, on the one hand though, it doesn't force them to put too much effort into something as it stagnates. Plus, long runs on a single game tend to have viewership decline. The good boys have learned from the mistakes their ex-compadre still makes.

Yeah.. I might have overreacted. But I hate that my favorite LP channel "attempts" playing games I play. I cringe too hard.
They seriously didn't even check the graphic options (how entitled can you get?). It hurts so much. Also None of them can play. Hope they're on easy.

I actually like that they do that. IMO, it's better for them to play a game and to stop when they aren't having fun anymore than to force themselves to slug through it like Game Grumps does. You can feel the enthusiasm die with each episode when that happens.

The newest Cyberpunk video is good at showing how the little things just pile up, the damage indicator not reflecting how much trouble you're really in is when it felt like that turned them against the game.

What are the specs of the PC they're playing it on, or is it their PS5?
