New bing bing wahoo video.

On a side note, I really hope Slightly Artistic comes back. The series was great to have on while doodling, and one of my favourite series Chris has done period.

I hope so too. Feel that they may have burned themselves out on Slightly Artistic by doing so many episodes every week or two. Would be fine if it was a monthly thing so they don't get burnt out on it

Not to derail anything, but Stamper doesn't have a thread and I know people in here care about where he's at these days.
From his Patreon:

tl;dr: He's moving again. This time to Michigan.

I think this is the 4th or 5th time someone in this thread has said that they're hoping for more Slightly Artistic videos over the past month. Listen to your true and honest fans, Chris. Give the people what they want!

He's moving to Michigan. No one moves to Michigan to get their shit together.
I mean where do you move in the US to get your shit together? Because the only places I can think of are Alaska since you're likely to die if you aren't friendly with your neighbors.

I know it'll probably never happen but I wish stamper would just move back to Philadelphia. Lot's of the newgrounds guys would gladly take him in. Jeff still talks fondly of him on twitter ( when he's not complaining about US politicians or whatever pissed him off that day ). But he really needs someone to keep him in check. The longer he lives alone the worse I think it will get for him.

Mick is probably the only one that would have a problem with him since he did go nuclear on the guy when he fucked up, but since that happened so long ago he probably isn't that mad anymore

while the show's been in a bit of a slump recently, i've really started warming up to lyle. i used to find him painfully unfunny, but he gets a laugh out of me every once in a while now.
I used to skip every single video with him in it since he used to be really try-hard with his humor but now he's mellowed out a lot. Not hilarious but I guess he's found his groove more.

I think he was adjusting to the format. A lot of his own work has the ability to be setup-payoff style comedy, whereas the charm of oneyplays is off-the-cuff ringers. When the situation is appropriate, Lyle's also a fine storyteller - like his adventures in ratopia; he's just learned that you shouldn't try to force a complicated joke into every situation.

I don't necessarily think that the Chris-Lyle-Tomar pairing really works, though, as Tomar and Lyle seem to occupy the same kind of flavor space. Both work better as tempering agents for Zach than for one another.

Yeah that's the thing, his jokes were just so complicated and long-winded, something better if you write it out, edit it, and then record it enough until the delivery is right. Otherwise Zach and Chris have very spontaneous and immediate humor. I guess he's realized those long-winded jokes halted everything so now he just goes with the flow.

And for sure, Tomar and Lyle don't really let their minds wander off like Chris, Zach, DD, Julian, and especially Cory do. DD & Julian rarely had a low energy play-through (except for Dead Rising when Julian or DD was being whiny, can't remember which one, maybe both), but a lot of the recent stuff honestly feels like the guys are clocking in. Still better than most other stuff out there, though.

I think they're doing so intentionally to focus, for the moment, on other projects. It doesn't seem like they're really keen on a lot of the games they've been playing, but they're sure to get attention due to their nature. Choosing fairly uninteresting games to play during a low point is a pretty smart strategy - and smash is basically just them hanging out and reminding us that Lyle is the only guy good at video games among the gang. Perhaps a bit of a pause after the Adventures of Chris and Jef was necessary.

Frankly, I'd rather them bring out the fun and quirky and interesting games when they have the energy and presence for them anyways.

I can't help but bust out laughing at this thumbnail every time I see it again.

I kinda wish they would do more N64 games with the new cast. It was better when DD and Julian were there but I still think they should give it a shot.
