If you don't like Dingdong, why would you expect to like the videos he's in? I also don't remember him being an asshole. He seems pretty levelheaded. There's the tuba shit, but he keeps that out of his content, so whatever.

Mostly just the things about him and Julian hating the fan base and let's plays in general, which let's be honest, are all valid views. However, if you're going to shit on something while actively doing it, then I have no respect for you. I distinctly remember Dingdong and Julian on an episode of SuperMega, Ryan I think had said something about how they're doing let's plays now and they both said something along the line of "we didn't fucking want to". Maybe I'm petty, but it's kind of retarded.

Oh, I gotcha. It's kinda a common thing for creative types to resent the popularity of projects they put less effort into. DD&J want to be known as artists and game designers instead of Let's Players. I agree they shouldn't take it out on the fans or the format, especially when DD's been streaming games for years before and after OneyPlays. That's like, lower effort Let's Plays. I guess I just don't mind it. They're entertaining and fairly upfront about things, which is refreshing when comparing them to Arin and his wannabe let's play empire.

I saw Ding Dong at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Would you refuse to watch a film made by a director who despises the movie industry?
What about a musician who is vocal about how much he hates the state of the music industry?
Do you want your content creators to just keep perpetually faking happiness and excitement like obedient reaction niggers that they are or be honest with their audience?

Also, I don't really understand why you are trying to single out DingDong when it's pretty clear that Julian is the main source of complaints in that group. Not that I think that most of his points about being defined by the let's plays and dealing with parasocial relationship retards are not valid.
 
They kinda fixed the combat in this update but they didn’t fix the fact that you have to go to a save point to do all of your level ups. I swear to god this is the most retarded thing I’ve ever seen in an RPG. The mind dungeon is one of the worst things about this game.

Yeah running shine goes into it more, but and forgive me Allah for saying this, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? Thematically it's not cool or interesting and mechanically it's boring and tedious. Just cut it out. Just cut the bad part out Allanson twins.

You know it makes me think maybe publishers that play handler for devs know what's up sometimes. That mechanic seems like it would've been axed under any other publisher. But wasn't, probably due to one of the devs liking the concept so much that they didn't wanna compromise their vision of it. Or it could be because the publisher's totally not a money laundering scheme website looks like a cult recruiting homepage.

It works well in the Dark Souls series. The mind dungeon is definitely retarded.
