The problem with having a website solely for people too retarded for Kiwifarms is that its unreadable garbage, even without the eyeburning default theme.

My own opinion on the quality of the website aside, it is admirable that Kengle is trying his best to keep the website up and running and is so willing and tireless in fostering a community. If he wasn't so fixated on being a knockoff, he might have a decent forum at some point.

Ken, after Daniel Lopez dox'd Ken's sister, decided it would be a good idea to let Dani be a janny. As for the statement Ken had to sign, saying he wasn't a nazi, I also found out, that the police laughed at Ken, when he (finally) contacted them over Ash harassing Ken's family, because he tried to make content out it.

He still hasn't been honest at all. about what caused the down time. Saying it was "Ummm hack, um, something plug-in, um" doesn't really cover it. If you remember, the site went down for a couple of days, shortly before the week long "black out". I asked him directly about it, and after throwing his jannies under the bus (he denied he was his fault, and that he'd be having words with the mods.

Just here to correct this, character is just a middle school girl. Shes never sexualized in the anime, Lucky Star’s a slice of life kids show. I only took the banner cause I saw some weeb channel making some video essay on how the character is secretly evil and I found it funny to call some random kid in a cutesy show a “demon”.

I changed my banner actually to an image I got from here of Ken squinting at a bright light but it got changed back for some reason.

First episode was fine for me, just a bit… I dunno the word, uneventful? It served its purpose as a slice of life, it just so happens that these characters lives were very boring. It did make me laugh when it wanted to though.

When I got there it was mostly drama with Ken that was upsetting him, stuff like Ken trying to get minors on the forum and ignoring Jack telling him it was a bad idea. I don’t know about before that of course.

It was a restricted access (the celebrity section) for 16 & 17 year olds (that would be more heavily moderated) because Onionfarms had the same nickname (OF) as Only Fans and wanted people to differentiate between the two. At the same time, there was a custom plugin that would have blocked people under 18 from most other forums. Eventually it was dropped as not being practical.

Being based on kiwi farms is the only reason it has members to begin with. Why the fuck would anyone use it otherwise? It barely has any reason to exist whatsoever.

Community overlap is fine (to an extent, in my opinion there should be some type of OnionFarms rule where if what you want to say would be praised on KF then you’re not allowed to post it on OF, to keep the safe haven for dissenters) but I feel like Ken is so focused on “beating Kiwifarms” that it stagnates the site. Sometimes it feels like the site is Kiwifarm’s cringey younger brother. It’s to dangerous extents sometimes where now we’re letting pedophiles on just cause “Well they were banned from Kiwifarms and uhhh yknow we’re like Kiwifarms but opposite”. All in all, it’s willingly living in someone else’s shadow.

There’s some great posters making some great threads to give the site an identity, but like you said, we’re going at a snail’s pace
