She doesn't really think they like her. Ashley, somewhere not-too-deeply buried inside, knows full well just how awful and unlikeable she is. She's never been able to hold even neutral conversations. I've literally never seen anyone respond positively to Ashley, and I can't find any that she's had at all, ever, going back to the start of her internet footprint. Melinda was the closest thing to a friend that Ashley's ever had online.

How did Snail Slime get banned? From what I remember she just kept on trying to troll* in the A&N threads that had no real connection to certain topics. Like was it just shitting up to many threads?

*I say trolling, but honestly it seemed like just getting butthurt in threads about certain topics and getting pissed at certain users.

I always thought she was trolling most of the time, but it was obvious she would come in to play defense when some of her buddies embarrassed themselves, which was weird. That one user getting outed for being fat was the best example. I think she even sent me a rage message when I was Leslie Nielsen.
