...onions?

Important question is: Do you like onion soup? Have you ever had it?

If you are going to know how to make one thing you might want to make something you like.

It’s fine if you have some bread to dip in it. Otherwise you’re just putting water in perfectly good Onion Dip mix.

Yes, onion soup is one of the best soups. Onion is cost to effect probably the most potent easily available anabolic product. Rats fed 1g of onion juice per 1kg of bodyweight daily had their testosterone levels elevated by over 300%. I eat a raw onion with every meal (5 raw onions a day) and can confirm it will make you a sexual tyrannosaurus

Every time i hear that guy saying onions i get reminded of that harry potter animation saying levioSUUUUUUUUH

The important thing is that you have a good beef broth. first time i tried making it i used bullion and while it was decent, wasn't great. then i made stock using beef shanks. it turned up amazing. and there's lots of stuff that you can do in order to have a killer onion soup.

If you can't cook it's because you aren't trying.
If you can't follow instructions from written recipes find a video.
Remember that it's pretty hard to fuck up the food if you use less heat than recommended, it just takes longer and that can be good for a newb.
If you aren't super poor buy a slow cooker like a crockpot, super easy recipes and even the cheapest cuts of meat come out super tender.
But with a slow cooker you need 6-12 hours cook time (where you do nothing at all after dumping the ingredients in).
Don't be a bitch, real men can cook.

The best French Onion soup comes from America's Test Kitchen.
I've made it, but being just two people in our home, it's not convenient especially if you don't have ramekins to broil the cheese over the crouton with. It's a dealbreaker.
It's one of those things I've put on my "restaurant only" list for that reason.

It's nice, but if you seriously have never really cooked before I recommend you do something else. A proper onion soup is quite labour intensive compared to something like a basic stew, with which you can experiment a lot more as newbie and can learn you some basic skills, and is more forgiving to errors.
